Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Couple of train pictures

4 degrees again this morning and it's snowing.
Another walk in the basement.

David and Liz left this morning for a week in Florida.
Liz's daughter is getting married.
Great time to leave here!

Today is another day around the house for us.
Cleaning in the morning and I'm just about done for this week.

Usual afternoon.
Reading
Knitting
Puzzling

Here's a look at the latest puzzle we've started.

Not much to blog about.
I really don't mind the cold and snow of winter but I've had enough
of it now and look forward to spring and nice walking weather.

Hope all is well with you.
Happy Wednesday and thanks for stopping by.

Debby - No, 4 degrees is not the coldest.  Coldest this year so far was minus 18.
FG - A couple of pictures for you of Ken's trains.

...I'm sorry about your weather, but it's nice to see Ken's train layout.

They just look so real! I would never have known they are models. Your puzzle of a beach house is good weather to work it!

I love seeing photos of his train set up. He has put so much into that and it's just amazing.

Hi Karen. I always enjoy pictures of Ken's train layout. I love your newest puzzle. Can you share where you got that very cool puzzle board? I have looking for one on Amazon and they are a little pricey - but maybe money well spent. It's great that David and Liz get a little Florida getaway, and attending a wedding is a plus! I am looking forward to spring too. We are supposed to get another big snow storm tonight, so that might mean a "fun" commute to school tomorrow. See you again soon!

I really like Ken’s train town. It’s something I could stare at and just imagine the comings and goings on around the town. Very creative.

I went a whole week without leaving the house because of the cold temps. Had to get out for a little yesterday but didn't go very far.
I like the pictures of the train set up.
This is a good time to go to Florida. Even though they may think it's cold there right now anyone visiting from snow country will find it wonderful.

I need to get one of those puzzle tables! We just acquired a 1000 piece puzzle that we haven't started yet!. It's going to take us a while because we are used to 300-500 piece ones!

How clever, you managed to make the small picture inside the puzzle before completing the puzzle.

God bless.

Wow, that is COLD!
On the bright side, it looks like there was a great turnout for your big Knit Shoppe sale. Ken's attention to detail always amazes me.
