January Calendar Picture
This first day of the new year I started off NOT going for my morning walk.
It was cold, snowing, and very windy.
It improved by the afternoon and I had planned to go then but got
busy doing other things and never did go.
Late afternoon we got more snow.
I found a few other little Christmas decorations that I missed yesterday
and got them put away.
Then I decided to change a few things around in the house.
Living room didn't get any furniture moved around just moved some
items to different places.
The bedroom is where I spent most of my time.
Furniture got moved around in there.
Did it all on my own and never had to ask Ken for help!!!
Moving things around is a good way to get behind everything
and give it a good cleaning and dusting.
We worked on the puzzle.
Thought it was going to be hard looking at the picture but
it has turned out to be pretty easy.

Every year, each day I read a some of my Bible
and by the end of the read it through.
Today I started it over again.
The last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22,
always gives me the chills when I read it.
22:7
Behold, I come quickly:
blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,
the first and the last.
Verse 17 is the last place in the Bible where the invitation for
salvation is given.
And the Spirit and the bride say,
Come.
And let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come.
And whosoever will,
let him take the water of life freely.
The last two verses 20 and 21 of the Bible say,
He which testifieth these things saith,
SURELY I COME QUICKLY. Amen
Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
Amen
That's it for this first day of 2025.
Thanks for stopping by.
HAPPY NEW YEAR

We've had rain and strong wind in my part of the UK so I stayed indoors and decided to take down and put away the Christmas Decorations.
Rewarded myself with a sit down and cup of tea afterwards :)
All the best Jan
...today was a cold and rainy day here in paradise, I stayed in.
Temps are beginning to drop and the rain makes it worse. Have a great day and stay warm.
It's lovely and sunny here today which is a nice change. It's been a wet summer so far. Perhaps I should start moving the furniture - I used to do that a lot when we were first married 😄
Hi Karen. I have two questions for you today. #1 What plan do you follow to get through the Bible in a year? #2 What kind of smart watch do you have? My Apple Watch died today and I need a new one. Thanks. Happy new year to you and Ken!
Hello! Sounds like a productive day, my friend. I like a good dusting and cleaning after Christmas. Stay warm and cozy!
I need to get back to my regular walking. I have a walking pad now to use on cold days but I have rarely used it. I need to do a good cleaning under my furniture too. Happy New Year.
No matter how hard I try to find every little Christmassy ornament I always find at least one that I missed. I'm leaving mine all up for a while. I had to put the nativity set under the tree away because the 3 kings kept getting knocked over. I hope you can get back to walking tomorrow.
Revelation is one of the hardest books to understand, and everyone has their own take on it. You must be so strong! I like your calendar picture better than mine!
We had our first snow that stuck to the ground this morning, but it was all gone by 2:00 p.m. so far we're having a very mild winter, but generally January and February are our worst months for cold. Don't you be out walking on slippery roads I'm always afraid of you falling. God bless and happy New Year!
We got snow here yesterday too. Why is it that when you put Christmas decorations away there is always at least one thing that you missed. Happens to me every year.
Hello,
It has been cold and windy here. My decorations have been put away. The calendar picture is beautiful. Take care, have a wonderful day!
Yesterday we has snow. I like to move things around often. It makes my rooms look fresh again. Janice
So many signs are in place for His return. Amen. I love to re-arrange things, changing a room is refreshing. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you also. Happy New Year.
Karen, I so enjoy reading your blog. Your original dedication to walking, and that forested property you own, have captured me for years. I know I don't comment often, but I always read your posts.
We're moving some cupboard contents around and getting rid of stuff. Probably should have put Christmas away first! :) It is good to move things around and clean out stuff, too. Come Lord Jesus, Come!
I thought I already posted. Oh well.
I have a dust allergy so we move out furniture to vacuum, sweep, wipe down wall dust. I don’t know why but it is awfully dusty in my area. Probably due to the dryness and lack of humidity. I have to keep on it.
I love Revelation and find it’s not as difficult as I thought it would be. The different interpretations are just that - none of it salvational. The overwhelming message is the HOPE we have which propels me to start spreading seeds and telling others about Jesus. Judgement is real and it’s heartbreaking to think so many will still chose not to repent and follow God.
