Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Milk Bottle Monday

The sidewalks and side streets in town are still not cleared of ice and snow and it is only 15 degrees so it was another day of walking inside for me.

I spent most of the day working on the counted cross stitch Christmas ornament I'm making for my give-a-way one for Babies for Blankets.
Was just going to work on it a little bit this morning and before I knew it, it was lunch time.

We put our garbage in the back of the truck and took it to the dump.

Milk Bottle Number 7
It is another quart size but the writing on the bottle has no color so even filled with milk you can't read what it says.

One side says
Safe Milk for Babies!

The other side says
Chestnut Farms
Chevy Chase
Dairy
Washington, D.C.

On the bottom of the bottle it says
Cream Top Pat. MAR.3 25
L 41

Not much to blog about today so that's going to be it.
Hope you have had an enjoyable Monday and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂

On my bad days I seek you,
on my good days I thank you,
on my great days I praise you, but every day I need you,
Thank you God for always being here for me.

Hi Karen! I love that prayer at the end. So true. Today's milk bottle looks like a really old one. When my kids were babies, I was told never to give them regular milk until they were past two-years-old. Times, and medical advice, sure have changed. See you again tomorrow!

I like that milk bottle...and I, too, like that prayer. We got a skim of snow and daughter was a half hour late getting home...because the roads were like ice. And for once everyone was driving sensible.

They are a different shape of milk bottle.

I wish you a happy new week ahead, please continue to take good care of yourself.

All the best Jan

Never seen milk bottles that look like that.

yes, that prayer shows our daily need.
I hope you can walk outside tomorrow.

PS I made your "forgotten cookies" and they were a big hit with the family.

That's a really interesting bottle!
I hope your roads improve soon. I know you would rather be outside. It continues to snow here too and supposed to keep up all week.

First seeing this bottle I thought it was for babies because of the shape. You dont see many like these. Janice

The shape of those bottles is really interesting.
Your temperatures are lower than ours. We've got a ton of snow but we've remained in the 20's.

The milk bottles have an interesting shape.
It is very cold, not snow here yet. Maybe on Thursday!
Take care, have a happy day!
