Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A visit to the hospital

Well I had a bit more of a problem than just not feeling so good on Tuesday.
I've been in the hospital for the past two days.

Without going into detail my heart starting racing Tuesday night and
early Wednesday morning Ken took me to the ER.

Spent the day in ER hooked up to all kinds of monitors and
finally with medicine my heart was back to a normal regular beat.
They kept me over night and another day for observation.

Came home supper time last night with a couple of meds
that I will be taking from now on.
So I've joined the club of us old people taking medicine.

It could have been a lot worse and I'm so thankful
to be back home again and feeling good.

I'm so thankful for:
God being with me and getting me through this.
For all the doctors and nurses.
Ken was wonderful and I'm so thankful for him.
Prayers said for me.
Our Pastor who came not once but twice to visit and pray with us.

❤️     ❤️

I felt good enough to go walking this morning and it was 45 degrees with a few low hanging clouds and then sunny.

Morning Walk steps were 10,277

Walked over to the library to drop a book and DVD down the drop and then up and down the main road and around the ball park and both of the cemeteries.

I stopped in at the doctors office here in town because I had to make an appointment for a follow up check for next week.
I walked in and they said, we were just talking about you saying we haven't seen you the last couple days and wondered where you were.

Didn't see anyone else out about down.

☀️    ☁️    🥾    🙂

After lunch we went to the dump and stopped at the library to pick up another book and DVD.

Relaxing the rest of the afternoon and thought I'd post early today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope your Friday is a good one.

You must have gotten a bit too excited about the election.

So sorry you have been in hospital but it was good to read that everyone has been looking after you so well, and you are now back home.

I do hope the medication you are on continues to help you.
Do take care and rest a while when you need to.
Sending healing thoughts and very good wishes to you.

All the best Jan
