Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Saturday

31 degrees this morning when I walked around town.
It was sunny and calm.
Sunrise 6:55
Morning Walk Steps 10,359

Walked around both of the cemeteries first a couple of times, then over to the ball park and around there once.
Continued around town, then back around the ball park and back to the Jeep.

Rebecca was out walking today.
A couple I know drove past me in the car and stopped to say hi and we talked a few minutes.

Just a few pictures I snapped as I walked along.

One lone chicken was out of the coop this morning and looked liked it was sleeping.

☀️    🦃     🙂    🐓

Met the ladies at the library for our stitching time.
10 of us there today and we were the only ones in the library.
It was a good thing because we were having a good old time and were quite noisy.
We would have quieted down if others were there.

Last night when I started reading the book I picked up from the library yesterday I realized I had already read so brought that back today.
Didn't even look around for another book because I have a couple on reserve which should be coming in Tuesday.
Till then I'll read one of my Nancy Drew books and start one of my own books.

Made a few weave-it squares at Stitching and made a few more this afternoon at home.

Hope you all had a happy and healthy day and thanks for stopping by,
HappyK🙂

Want to say THANK YOU to you all who said prayers for me and wished me well.
Thanks for caring.  Bloggers are the BEST!!! Wish I could give you all a hug in person.
Love Karen

Looks like you had a lovely sunny day. Poor chicken, probably sorry she flew out of the coop.
