Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A chilly AM

A little chilly this morning at 27 degrees, but there was no wind and the sun came out.
Pretty colors in the sky this morning and it covered the whole sky.

Started my walk going around the cemetery on the hill.
Then stopped at the Jeep to get a DVD and then went over to the library and dropped it town the slot.
Next headed over to the ball park, then through town a bit, back around the ball park and lastly around the other cemetery.

The work that was being done yesterday at the little black house was getting a portion of the yard fenced in.

RuthAnn was out walking her two dogs.

My dental appointment to get a filling replaced was this morning at 9:30.
Glad it was early to get it over with.
Things went well and fast and was out of there by 9:45!!

Back at home did a few more things around the house.

Then it was time for some reading and knitting.
A nice way to spend the afternoon.

Easy supper tonight - hotdogs.  We broil them till just about burnt.  Had coleslaw along with them.

That's it for today.
Hope your Wednesday was a good one and thanks for stopping by.

I have just been to the dentist,
and need not return for another six months!
Is it not the most beautiful thought?

Very pretty sky photo.
I can totally agree with that quote. Always a good feeling when the dental appointments are done... at least for awhile.

No one is a fan of Dentist Appointments, but I hope all went well. We sure admire your consistency in walks, we are starting to get geared up, we are at about 4000 steps LOL Take care and wishing you the best.

I have never seen this quote before. The sky is absolutely gorgeous!! sometimes I bake hot dogs in the toaster oven. Slice them in half lengthwise, not all the way through. Bake around 375 till browned.

Ha, I like my hot dogs burnt just right.
Wow that must be a fast dentist. 15 minutes to replace a filling and get you out of there? That’s amazing. I have a dental appointment next Wednesday at 3:30 and I probably won’t be seen till 4:30. I always make my appointments first in the morning but I had to wait 4 months so I grabbed what they had available. I don’t like going to the Dentist. I’d rather have rotator cuff surgery than go to the dentist.
Pretty sky. Today our skies have been cloudy with a lot of rain. ☔️ But still an enjoyable day.

That is one beautiful sky. We are having chili dogs tomorrow night for dinner. My dentist appts are usually an hour each time. Janice

Hotdogs sound good! We haven't had those for a long time. Your dentist is like mine - fast! So glad all went well with the replacement of your filling. Sounds like you had a nice afternoon. See you again soon!

You had a lovely walk and a good appointment. It is nice to relax after a busy morning. I love a grilled hot dog and a grilled roll.

I like that Agatha Christie quote. You could insert doctor in the place of dentist as far as I'm concerned.

My husband always did hotdogs on the broiler in the winter and the grill in the summer. A hotdog and coleslaw sounds tasty.
