Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Work Day 2

I was in town and walking at 6:00.
Went a little early because we had to leave the house at 8:30 and I wanted to get my whole walk in.
It was 50 degrees, calm, and dark!
Once it was light there was a mix of sun and clouds.
Morning Walk Steps 13,113

Walked all around town under the street lights till it got light.
Then walked around both of the cemeteries and the ball park loop.

I saw John out walking Prim.
They were coming down the hill from the cemetery as I was going up.
John has started leaving messages on the mirror too. 🙂
This morning he wrote Good Morning.

Not much activity around town today.

🙂     ☁️     🌤

After breakfast I did a few quick morning chores and was out of the house at 8:30.
Another Fingerprint work day.  Well, have a day, we all worked till noon.
Not a very big turn out again but we still got 7,793 books put together, stapled, cut, and boxed up. We were all pleased with that number.

On the way home we stopped at the Shop and Save to pick up a few things.

Puttered around the house during the afternoon,

That's it for this Friday.
A happy day to you and thanks for stopping by.

Rose - No, the chickens don't have their wings clipped.  I've seen them fly over the fence before.  They always go back in the yard.  They know where the food and shelter is.🐓

I love the fog and how it is covering the trees. Also, pretty red leaves on the tree trunk.

...the woodbine climbing the tree is putting on quite a show.

That's a pretty vine climbing the tree. Woodbine. Good thing Tom can identify wild plants.

I would love to be there to see the chickens. I love that photo with the fog. And that Virginia Creeper is so pretty.

You were an early riser to be in town at 6:00 this morning, but I understand why. Thankful for the number of books that were completed. May God use them to bring many to Himself. xx

Very neat photo of the woodbine and thanks to Tom for letting me know its name.

Both my grandparents had chickens. Both let them wander wherever they wanted to and they always came home to roost when dusk came. They knew where to find their shelter for the night. Janice

I like seeing the fog in the cemetery. Nothing as sweet as a free roaming chicken. I love keeping them.
