Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Puzzles

By 6:20 I was in town and walking.
Saw a few deer on my way to town and had to stop for one of them.

It had rained over night but by the time I went walking
it was 72 degrees, with a mix of sun and clouds and a nice breeze.

A very random walk around town.
Walked some in the industrial park and around the ball park too.

The guy was running laps around the ball park and
I saw another man walking through town who I've never seen before.

Bill and Greg were out picking up some trash from yesterday.
There wasn't a lot of trash but the parade people throw out
a lot of candy that doesn't all get picked up.

I found a penny and a dime.

Pictures I took along my way this morning.

☁️    🌥    🌤

Changed a few things around in the house today.
I put these white shelves back in the kitchen and arranged
some things on them.

We ordered some new jigsaw puzzles last week because they were on sale.
They arrived in the mail today.
Will save them for winter time and do the first one when
the first snow falls.

I spent a couple of hours working on the counted cross stitch project.
I can't last more than a couple of hours doing that and usually
just spend an hour or so at a time.
I really want to get it done this year though!!

That's all I have for today.
Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

Those puzzles look intriguing ...and a lot of fun. It would take perseverance but I know you and Ken both have that. :)

I like your white shelves and especially how you haveeverything arranged.
Seeing it reminds me that I sent you an email at the address listed in your profile this afternoon to let you know about an auction I thought you might find interesting. It's in Springs PA.

Hi Karen! I love those puzzles. You will really have fun with them this winter. I still have the same puzzle out that I started a couple of months ago. It's a hard picture and I just can't seem to get it finished. Do you ever get stuck on a puzzle and just give up and start another one? That is what I am thinking of doing. It is a puzzle with a picture of different kinds of candy and it is hard! I prefer puzzles that are an actual picture of something. Have a great weekend. See you again soon!

...the 1000 piece pitcher puzzle looks too hard for my limited attention span.

I like your white shelf with all your kitchen gadgets. Very attractive. The photos of your town always has me dreaming what it would be like to live in your small town. Seems like a different world!

I love what you did with your shelves, and your pretty blue door. You pass a lot of very different scenes and landscapes on your walks.

I really like the white shelves and the assortment of things on it! That is my kind of decorating! Your puzzles look challenging. I wish I had the patience for them. The one "They still make that?" looks like fun. Some of your photos remind me of where I grew up in upstate NY. A bit hillier there, maybe, but the buildings look so familiar. Hope you have a great weekend.

You certainly chose challenging puzzles but you and Ken always manage to get them done so quickly.
I like how you've arranged the white shelves with a couple of touches of red.
