I woke up to rain but it was supposed to stop by 6:30
so left just a few minutes later than usual and by the time I got
to town it had stopped.
Then just cloudy for the rest of my walk.
It was 71 degrees with a breeze.
Sun did come out later in the day and we had another pretty day
with sunshine and cool breezes.
Walked around both of the cemeteries first and then to the
ball park and around there.
The rest of my walk was up and down all the side streets in town.
Also walked a little way down the road toward home and
then back again to town.
Rebecca was out walking Leo.
Saw Lena in the parking lot of the church in town
and stopped to talk to her.
These are Pam's blooms.
She has one of the day care houses in town.

Stitching time at the library this morning.
A good group of 7 of us were there this time.
Three of us were knitting.
One was doing embroidery.
One a quilt square.
Two just sat and talked.
Such a nice bunch of women and over these many
weeks we have really gotten to know each.
This afternoon I worked on getting my craft closet organized once again.
I try to keep it in good order but it never lasts very long.
I did find a little time for working on my counted cross stitch project
and sitting out on the front porch.

Happy Saturday

...we had a light rain over night and then a heavy rain about 1 PM. That is a gorgeous clematis, perhaps the variety "Jackman."
That Clematis is so pretty and really stands out on the white trellis.
Your Saturday morning stitching group at the library sounds like a lot of fun.
Hope to see you soon!
It looks like a nice morning for a walk.
The clematis is pretty and so full of blooms!
Glad your stitching group is so fun!
Your sewing group sounds like so much fun...you would think that I would have joined a quilting group at some point but I never have.
I love that first pic, and Pam's blooms are gorgeous.
There have been 3 puzzles I did not finish, though one I went back and did. The two I quit because the pieces were like they had gotten wet or something, and just couldn't put them together and them stay. And one the cats lost pieces...that was the Gray Wold photomosaic puzzle, and I rebought the puzzle just a few years ago and finally worked it when Bubbie became old and didn't bother everything. LOL Also, I thought to take a piece of cardboard and cover it.
The purple flowers are gorgeous!!! It is so pretty there even after a rain.
Those purple flowers are so pretty.
I'm the same with my craft stuff. I try to keep it neat but one project and it's a mess again.
Beautiful flowers. Thank you.
God bless.
Love the photos, especially the clematis!
We could use the rain here, it must keep missing us.
Take care, have a great day and a happy new week.
Beautiful photos, Karen.
Hi Karen! Those purple Clematis flowers at Pam's house are beautiful. I am glad it stopped raining so you could walk. Your knitting group sounds so nice. I am catching up on this post on Sunday. See you again soon!
Pam's flowers are lovely. That sounds like a fun time at the library. Happy Sunday to you. I'm mostly a day late with your posts. :)
Pam's blooms are beautiful.
All the best Jan
