I saw a variety of animals as I drove to town.
3 deer
groundhog
raccoon
2 chipmunks
and one poor dead rabbit that someone ran over.
It was 65 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds and a breeze.
Interesting looking sky this morning.
I walked a little bit different this morning.
I made one big loop all around town including once around the ball
park loop and both cemeteries.
Walked so I didn't have to go up and down streets and not have to backtrack.
I tried to make it so the loop was half of my walk and did a good job of it.
The loop turned out a tiny bit more than half.
Then I just walked the same route over again.
A woman was out walking her two dogs,
a man walking his dog
and Sheila was running.
I met the man who bought the house across from the pond.
His name is Rick and his daughter lives here in town.
He is from Missouri and said his daughter finally talked him into
moving here after his wife died.
He kept his farm in Missouri and is renting it out just encase he
wants to move back there.

Thought he looked cute with the straw in his mouth.

A sunny day so some more laundry got done.
Our new freezer was delivered this afternoon.
It was kind of neat that we could track the truck route on line
on a map and know when it would get to the house.
We started out number 11 and watched it getting closer and closer.
When we were next on the list it came in 20 minutes.
Very impressed with the delivery service.
They were friendly, fast, and unpacked it, took all the tape off the
inside too and took it all away.
Got some house cleaning done.
Worked on the cross stitch.
Sat out on the porch and read.
Made a new recipe for supper.
Cheesy Italian Chicken Pie
But is was just okay and won't be making it again.

Hi Karen. That's a great little freezer and looks a lot like the one we have. Sounds like the delivery service was great and right on time! That cool that you could track it. I think that man who bought the house across from the pond, Rick, is pretty smart, because your town seems like a great place to settle! Glad your week got off to a good start. See you again soon!
Your new freezer looks like the one we used to have. It was too big for us, so we donated it. We are looking forward a much smaller one. Until then we have a newer refrigerator in our garage and it has a freezer.

I like when you can track progress of a delivery like that. Some places are better than others with their tracking. That looks like a nice freezer. Now you need to work on filling it up :)
