Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Saturday

Another cloudy morning walk and it was 58 degrees.
Felt like rain but I had a dry walk.
At town and walking at 6:30 and
Sunrise was at 5:59.

Walked around the upper cemetery and went over to the
long barn to see the cows.
Not that many left in the barn now.
I'm standing with the barn to my back taking these two pictures.

Then I walked through town and to the ball park and went around
the loop there a couple of times.
Around town again and lastly around the other cemetery.

Two Toned Iris

The parking lot by the pond was FULL without a space to be found
when I returned there from walking.
Lots of families out with their kids participating in the Fishing Rodeo.

I didn't find any coins this morning but did have a good find.
A Tape Measure.๐Ÿ™‚
It was sitting on the side of the road.

After breakfast headed over to the library to meet the
stitching ladies.
Only 3 of us there this time but enjoyable.
The visiting is just as good if not better than the actual stitching. ๐Ÿ™‚

Had a relaxing afternoon just puttering about the house.
Had a few rain showers but saw the sun too.

Yesterday our youngest grandchild graduated from High School.
David's son Japhy who lives in Hawaii.

That's it for today.
A happy day to you and thanks so much for stopping by.

Jeannette - Sorry forgot to answer your question about the bulls yesterday.  I have not petted the cows or bulls but have let them smell my hand and once in a while one will lick my hand.

Ginny and Elaine - About the pillow and the chicken.  There are a couple of chairs there with pillows on them.  The pillows happened to be off the chairs and on the ground. Guess the chicken decided to have a rest on one.

I had that same iris at my last house. It has always been a favorite.
