Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Peep Day

A nice warm 58 degrees this morning for walking.
A mix of sun and clouds and thankfully the wind was just a breeze.
Got to town and started walking at 6:25.
Sunrise 6:38

Walked around the cemetery up on the hill first and then down the left side of town and over to the ball park and a loop around there.

Continued walking a little past the DG Market, turned around and came back to town.

Walked up the main road and side streets back to the pond and then lastly walked around the other cemetery.

The mountain pink is starting to bloom in the cemetery.

Joy was out walking and so was John and his dog Prim.
John was too far away to talk to but me and Joy had a little chat.

Washed the sheets this morning, hung them on the line, and then put
in a second load of laundry.
By the time the second load was done, the sheets were already dried!!
So the bed was remade before lunch time!

Planned on going outside this afternoon to do some tidying up
around the property but the wind picked up again so decided to wait on that.
Started reading an Elizabeth Berg book.
Made a few weave-squares, will work on Mays baby blanket for a while.

Hamburger and Tater Tots it will be for supper today.

Happy Monday and Thanks for stopping by.

How fun would it be to semi hide your cute peeps so we can find it. Love carpet of flowers in the cemetery. Janice

The fountain and pond are looking so pretty this morning!
Isn't it wonderful to see the flowers starting to bloom? The mountain pink adds an old fashioned charm to the cemetery.
You had a productive day and that bed with sheets dried outside will feel good.

I love the smell of sheets/actually anything that is hung outside to dry. There is just nothing like it.

I see the James Herriot books where the peep is visiting...have you read them? They are some of my favorite books.
