Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Groups of 10

On my way to town I saw a couple of deer.
Got to town and started walking at 6:45.
It was 28 degrees, calm and clear.

Walked through town and over to the DG Market.
Was going to turn around and come back but thought I'd might
as well walk around the industrial park since I was already there.

Continued through town again, over to the ball park and
walked around there a couple of times.

Chickens were a acting a bit strange this morning.
They were all under the picnic table and didn't come out
to see me when I called to them.
They looked like they were hiding and I was thinking felt safe altogether.
Maybe they saw a hawk or something.

Next I headed over to the lower cemetery and while walking around there
felt the pedometer on my wrist vibrate so didn't make it to the other cemetery.

Didn't see any one at the new house moving in yet but I was there early.

Nice to see the sun come over the mountain again and have
part of my walk in the sunshine.

🌤   🌤

Seemed like a good morning for making pancakes for breakfast
so I did.

Got a load of clothes washed and hung out.

Last week the stitching ladies and I were talking about baking cookies.
I told them about Welsh Cookies and they never heard of them
so I said I would make some and bring them the next week.
I made them this morning and will bring them to the library tomorrow.

Yesterday when I was at church for babies for blankets,
Pastor asked if I would count out some gospel tracts in groups of
10 and put rubber bands around them.
Getting them ready for tract month which we do every April.

Well I tried listening to the audio book and didn't like it.
I just have to read a book and not listen to it.
Well I gave that one last try.

Friday and you know what that means.
Homemade Pizza
for supper.
Putting roasted peppers on it this week.

😀    🍕

Happy Friday and thanks so much for stopping by.

Homemade pizza sounded good. We had fish sandwiches and cheese nachos tonight. N=Meatless Fridays until Easter for us. Janice

The first photo reminds me of a spaceship landing. So bright! 😂 You know, like in that movie about the third kind...Invaders of the Third Kind? Ack. What was that called?

I have a one-track mind and cannot listen to a book. The fountain looks lovely all lit up in the dark. Wonder what's up with the chickens. Obviously, they saw something that frightened them.

I can't listen to a book either.
Funny about the chickens. I bet they saw something too.
It has been snowing all day here.
Homemade pizza sounds very good and the roasted peppers sound even better!

I can't seem to get into audio books either, and I have a bunch of Amazon credits for free ones. I let my kids use them :)

I listen to nonfiction, but cannot listen to fiction stories unless we are on a long car trip. I think it is wonderful that your church gives out tracts every year. I hope you have a good weekend.

...it snowed all day, we finally got our White Christmas a little late. Welsh cookies, I love currants. We had homemade vegetable beef soup, it was thick like stew. Take care and have a wonderful weekend, Karen.

Poor chickens must have been scared by something!

We had homemade pizza for supper too. Better than any bought one.

Hello,
Beautiful sunrise, a lovely start to your day.
The chickens might have been frightened by a hawk.
Take care, have a great weekend.

So funny to see those chickens under the picnic table. They must have seen a hawk in the air! Survival instinct at it's best!

The only time I listen to anything audio is on a longer drive or with headphones while I'm mowing or weeding. So this week has been so full that now instead of a day behind on visiting blogs, I'm almost a week behind. Happy Saturday to you and I'm sure the ladies will enjoy those cookies!
