Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A few flurries

This morning I was in town and started walking at 6:55
It was 25 degrees and a little windy.
During the night we had a very light dusting of snow
just to remind us that winter is not quite over yet.

Sunrise was at 7:22
Walked in the sun but by the time I got home it had turned cloudy.

Walked up and down the main street first and then around
the ball park.
The little bit of snow didn't phase the chickens.

Continued around both of the cemeteries
and then up and down the side streets.

As I was walking past the new houses being built one of the workers
happened to be walking from one house to the other and I walked
along with him.
He told me that on Friday a couple will be moving in.

☀️ ☁️

We ate up the two loaves of English muffins so I made another
two this morning.

Monday, so once again time to start the house cleaning for the week.
Got a good start and also cleaned out and straightened a cabinet
in the laundry room where we keep scarves and hats and winter stuff.

Had a little time for reading but didn't get around to knitting.
I'll do that later.

We've had a few snow showers during the day but it didn't amount to anything.

That's all I've got for today.
A happy Monday and thanks for stopping by.

GrannyM - Yes, the two new houses in town are the same except in reverse.

...it turned cold here, with about a dozen snowflakes. Take care and stay warm and well.

The snow didn't amount to much here today either. It will be fun to see people moved into one of the new houses.

Interesting that the chickens browsed around even in the snow.
Thanks for answering my question about the houses. I thought that they looked a lot alike.

You and the chickens are braver than I would be. I love the photo that is half in shadow, with a sharp dividing line!

The weather was similar here - a dusting and snow and some flurries. Spring is coming though!
Glad the homes will soon be filled!

Looks like a good walk this morning despite the snow dusting. We are enjoying sunshine in Idaho today with the a/c on in the car!! We will have a turn in the weather again this coming weekend just in time for Addy's birthday party. Hope you have a great Tuesday!

Hi Karen. No winter isn't over quite yet. We still have a few more days of it! It's great that you will have some new families moving into your town. See you again tomorrow!

We had snow here too but more than what you got. Also the skies were very gray. At least you had sunshine there.

We could see some flurries here too, it is cold and windy.
I like the photo of the chickens in the snow.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.

We had hail and snow off and on yesterday. Ugh, winter never seems to want to let go in March!
Good thing the chickens don't care!

We got more snow than you - on the first day of spring!

The chickens didn't seem to mind the snow.

All the best Jan
