Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

 Didn't see any sunrises this week.

On our way to church this morning.

One of the hymns we sang at church today.

๐ŸŽถ Be Thou My Vision ๐ŸŽถ
An old Irish hymn

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heav’n’s joys, O bright Heaven’s sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

๐Ÿ“–    ๐Ÿ“–    ๐Ÿ“–

Proverbs 29:18

 Where there is no vision, the people perish:
but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

A blessed Sunday to you.

Hello,
It looks like you had a lot more snow than we had here.
Happy Sunday! Take care, have a great week!

Hi Karen. We had a snowy Sunday here too, and the snow is still falling. Snow is in the forecast here for every day but Tuesday. I hope you have a good week and are able to walk outside. See you again soon!

A beautiful hymn. I often wonder how many of my ancestors sang some of the great hymns. I know a few my Grandma from Ohio loved and think of her when I hear them.

The snow is beautiful. We woke up to clear skies and 29 degrees. Brrrrr.

Love that hymn. I took photos on the way to church this morning, too. I'm posting them tomorrow. Happy New Week to you.
