Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Work Day

Arrived at town and started walking at 6:40.
Sunrise was at 7:29 and it sure was nice to see the sun come over the
mountain and feel the warmth on my face at 8:00.
Temperature was 20 degrees.

Walked all over town, both of the cemeteries, and the ball park too.

Stopped at the day care where Kinsley goes, to leave her gift there with Pam.
The school bus hadn't been there yet so I got to give the scarves
to Kinsley in person which was so nice.
Her face lit up, she put both scarves around her neck and I got
a thank you and an extra big hug.

Rebecca was out walking Leo.

The pond has a light coating of ice on it again
and there's mud puddles around.

It was a good morning for some nice hot oatmeal for breakfast.

I was supposed to be going to the library for the book club meeting
and the library was also having an open house for Christmas.
I didn't go though because today was a Fingerprint Ministry work day at church.
We worked from 12:00 - 5:30
Didn't take a count of people but there were about 15 people that were
there for part of the time.
People come and go and work as long as they want.
I usually work on the cutter and did that part of the time.
Also folded covers, stuffed scriptures in the covers and stapled.
Always enjoy working and being with the others.
We have a great church family.

Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by.

Nice to have a church family. Sweet to also get to give a gift and see the joy it brought. 20 degrees made me draw up some. LOL
Enjoyed the walk. We are getting WELLER down here... But still cool for Florida...

You must have made Kinsley's day with those scarves. What a nice surprise for her before she started school.
I like that ornament.

It's wonderful for the 'Body of Christ' to work together. Do you wear gloves when you work on the folding, etc. I was sure Kinsley would love those scarves!
