Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

No rain and a work day

To town and walking at 6:30.
Sunrise 6:37
42 degrees and happy to say no rain, just cloudy, and letter we saw the sun.
Morning Walk Steps 13,171

First walked over to the library and put a book down the drop.
Continued all around town, down the road towards home, back again,
and both of the cemeteries.

Now that the corn is finally cut down I can see the barn from
the cemetery again.

Lisa was out walking this morning and since it has been a while
since I've see her, we stopped and had a chat.

I returned to the Jeep a couple of times to take off a layer of clothing.
It felt a lot warmer out that 42, maybe because there was no wind.

☁️    😀    🥾

Did a few things around the house this morning and then we were off
to church for a Fingerprint Ministry work day.
Work was scheduled today between 12:00 and 5:00.
Low turn out but we who were there had a good time working
and got quite a lot done.
I did a lot bit of everything.
Will head back to church tomorrow morning for a half day of work.

Happy Thursday and thanks for stopping by.

The barn looks nice, now that we can see it. It was a dark and misty 53 today. Around here it seems everyone is still in holiday mode. Have you taken Christmas down yet? I was supposed to start today but now I’m thinking New Year’s Day. I do still enjoy the lights.

Really liked the farm scene. We noticed you enjoyed the Mitford series we could not wait for the next book. Sherry will check out Anne Perry.
Take care I hope we are about to level out some.......

A lovely view of the barn while you are out walking now. We went to Aldi today and I was so glad that it wasn't raining.
