A drizzly walk this morning.
Got to town and started walking at 6:30 and it was 42 degrees.
Drizzled the whole time except for the last couple of thousand steps.
Saw 4 deer on my way to town.
Dropped a book off at the library and walked up and down the
streets in town.
Over to the ball park and then to the DG Market where I
turned around and then went to the cemeteries and walked
around both of them.
After the odd Christmas decorations from yesterday
I took a picture of this traditional looking pretty house.
A pretty quiet morning around town
and happy to say I got all my steps in this time.🙂

This morning I baked the pumpkin pie for tomorrow.
Hard not to eat a piece today.
My crust came out so nice I thought I'd take a picture.
I wonder how many people still make their own crust.
Do you?
Did a load of laundry but no hanging them out on the line today.
They are over a heating vent on a drying rack.
I already set the table for tomorrow.
Just nice to look at it for while.
That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Yes, I do prefer a traditional looking pretty house to the Star Wars one you recently showed.
All the best Jan
PS Early happy Thanksgiving wishes.
I do like this house all decorated for Christmas.
Your pumpkin pie looks yummy. I am just about to get started on my apple pie. I haven't made my crust in years. I find the pre-made ones to be so convenient and taste good too.
Happy Thanksgiving, Karen and Ken.
I like that pic of you in the mirror.
Great looking pie!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Your pie looks delicious! We are going to have apple pie and, yes, I still make my own crust. Like the traditional looking Christmas decorations in today's picture. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow.
Nice mirror shot! The pie looks great, have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
...we have been dry for so long, now we are in a rainy period. We buy pumpkin pies for Costco. Karen, I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
Yum on that pumpkin pie! Cannot wait to have some tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving. Janice
I would bet that is GOOD. Sherry seldom if ever makes her own crust unless it is crushed graham cracker crust. LOL
Every time I walk in a mist or rain or see someone doing it, I generate the song ;Just Walking in the Rain' I forget who recorded it, but it does roll around in my head.
Any way I need to make that many steps, but lately I have generated about that clearing the woods here.
Sherry & jack in the rain here in NC too.
I like this decorated house much better than the last one. That pie sure looks good. I have never been able to make a good crust. Even if I baked my own pies I bought a crust and then put it all together.
I like the picture of you in the mirror.
Your pie looks yummy!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
I like the tasteful way that house is decorated. The house itself is very lovely.
Your pie looks delicious ( yes, we make our pie crusts, usually my DH does that part).
Nice picture of you in the mirror ❤❤
Enjoy your pie today, it looks fabulous!
Hi Karen, Your pumpkin pie looks wonderful and you did a great job on the crust. For our holiday dinner I bought a Marie Calendars pumpkin pie … it is way better than what I could make, but probably not as good as yours. :-) Happy Thanksgiving to you and Ken. John
I love that decorated house!
