How nice to wake up to a dry morning!!
Got to town and started walking at 6:25.
Sunrise was at 7:35
It was a clear, crisp morning and wow looking up was amazing seeing all those stars!!
The temperature was 32 degrees.
The sun didn't come over the mountain till I was walking my last loop around the cemetery on top of the hill at about 8:00.
Saw another skunk this morning.
I was surprised not to see anyone else out walking after all the rain of the last few days.
It sure was a beautiful morning for a walk.
This is the place in town that people can bring branches, leaves, and other yard waste to be burned.
Walked around the ball park loop a couple of times and up and down some side street in town too.
I was surprised to see these hydrangeas still blooming.
Morning Walk Steps were 13,705
🙂 🍁 🥾 ☀️
Sheets got washed and hung out to dry.
They will smell even better today because the air is so cool.
I baked a loaf of bread in the bread machine.
Used the raisin bread recipe from the book that came with the machine.
I put raisins and craisins in it.
In the afternoon I went for another walk but this time around Happy Trails which is what we named our property.
It was a beautiful sunny day.
Thanks for stopping by.
Had to melt the frost on the mirror with my finger as I wrote the message for today.

Hi Karen. I am behind on blog reading. Looks like you must have a lighthouse collection that you are featuring in your posts. Very cool. I hope you have a very nice week!
...I see that you are enjoying a golden fall.
love the Happy Trails pics, so colorful♥
Another nice lighthouse.
I like the Fall leaves pictures too. And those pretty pink Hydrangeas blooming NOW which is very surprising. Mine are all done.
What a lovely morning walk and you are a bit cooler than we are already. I walked before 6 this morning and it was still pretty dark out and misting. You are such an inspiration with your daily walks. xo Diana
You really did have a beautiful walk today. We also had a pretty day, but I was working from home and inside. Still, I enjoyed the sun and the golden leaves outside my window!
We still have some roses blooming, but the hydrangeas are done.
What a glorious sunny day today! I was out with Carroll this afternoon while we planted some tulip and blue bell bulbs. Felt so nice.
Your pictures from your walk around Happy Trails are beautiful. Autumn is one of my two favorite seasons... spring is the other.
Your collage of the brilliant blue sky and yellow trees is gorgeous! Unbelievable to see these Hydrangeas! And they are still looking very perky as well! All the ones around here have been dead for quite some time.
That's such a neat idea having a place for people to take yard waste to be burned. I wish they did that around here.
Love the blue sky in the collage and happy trails looks absolutely beautiful.
Lovely flowers.
God bless.
Beautiful fall colors and the hydrangea blooms are lovely.
I would like to see the lighthouse in New jersey, looks pretty.
Take care, have a great day!
Love that photo of the sun peeking over the hill. Great shot!
Beautiful flowers and foliage.
Lovely photographs, another nice lighthouse and how nice to see those hydrangeas still in bloom.
All the best Jan
I am also a little behind on commenting, but just couldn’t pass up saying how much I like your Happy Trails. I would love walking over the Happy Trails bridge. We haven’t had frost yet but it is headed our way.
Happy Trails is a great name and a place to walk about. Glad you got a dry morning for your walk and a dry time to put your sheets out on the line!
A good dawn.
