Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Mirror Message

Sunrise this morning was at 6:49
At town and walking at 6:23
The temperature was 62 degrees and calm with patchy fog.

Stayed in town and walked up and down the main road and side streets.

Then walked around both of the cemeteries and the ball park.

I'm not the only one that leaves messages on the mirror up at the cemetery.
Lisa does it too now and today left this one.
It's hard to read because it started to run but it says:
It's a great day to have a great day.

John and Prim were out also as well as Rebecca and Leo.

Tonya our letter carrier was just getting to the post office for work as I was passing the PO and we stopped for a little chat.

It was back to school today here so saw more cars and the school buses were back.

By the end of my walk the fog was gone and it was sunny.

☁️          🙂         ðŸ¥¾         ☀️

We ended up going shopping at Walmart this week.
Though I don't like shopping there I have to admit on most things the prices are better.
Stocked up some items that were cheaper.

We had to go to Lowe's and that is just down the road from Walmart so that's why we went to Walmart.

Home just in time for lunch.

Knitted some more on the shawl.
Up to 178 stitches on the needle now with just 7 stitches more to go.
The end is in sight!

Happy Tuesday
Thanks for visiting and a special THANKS if you leave a comment. 😀

I agree with you about Walmart. I'm not a fan, but the prices are good.

I like shopping at Walmart because they always have the items in their flyer and no limit on how many you can buy. The prices are quite good too.
We sure noticed a lot more traffic on the streets this morning and lots of children with back packs off to their first day back to school.

Such a pretty morning with the fog.
I love that steeple in the street photo.

Hi Karen. I'm with you about Walmart. It is NOT my favorite store, but some things are just flat out cheaper there. I love that now another person is leaving positive messages around town. What a lovely town you live in (near). Have a great week!

Around here, Wal-Mart usually has a Lowe's in the same parking lot. They must have some kind of del going on. This looks like a sweater button. My fav photo today is the beautifully misty first one.

I feel the same way about Walmart but there aren't many choices and Walmart does have the better prices.

I had to go to Walmart yesterday and spent way too much money and yet, only got what was on my list. Prices are just high everywhere!

Lots of evidence out there that school resumed here, too. Glad you at least enjoyed the lower prices on some items! Fun button.
