Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Blooming Daisies

This mornings walk was under cloudy skies and 60 degrees.
Sunrise 5:57
Morning Walk Steps 13.378

Started out walking around both of the cemeteries.

Then down the main road towards home a ways, turned around
and back to town.
Continued over to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times,
through town and once again around the lower cemetery.

Saw John walking Prim.
They were just getting to the pond as I was getting into the Jeep for home.

The footings have been poured for the new house and workers
there getting ready to start the block.

Workers back at the church working on the siding.

The house/store on Main Street that was recently bought by
Lin and her husband (Can't remember his name) had this sign
in the window.
I peeked in the window and saw paint cans about.
Looks like they still have a lot of work to do before they open,
but looking forward to it.

☁️    🚶‍♀️    🙂

Before I went in the house when I got home I took a picture of the daisies
starting to bloom in the front by our house.

Got to work doing house chores this morning.

It was a nice cool sunny day.
Spent some time this afternoon out on the front porch and the back deck.
It was actually a bit too cool for sitting on the porch so I went
out back on the deck in the sun.
Then after awhile it got too warm and I'd go back out front.

Thanks for stopping by
Happy Monday

Debi - You wondered about the cows and bulls.  They are out around the different pastures now.  Farmer Marvin moves them about every so often.

Your Daisies are pretty. I'm enjoying mine these days too. We had a lovely cooler day today so I baked Bran muffins. Hadn't made any for a while.

Hi Karen. I love the Daisies. Sounds like your town is growing with another new house going up. I am wondering what kind of store Lin and her husband are opening. I know you will tell us all about it when it opens up. Have a good Tuesday!

Thank you for your nice blog. Somehow always very soothing. Your first picture is so beautiful. But also the photo with the text on it :-) It's very hot here. I didn't walk today, but I hope to go to the woods tomorrow morning. We were supposed to get rain tonight. So... then it's nice to walk. I wish you a nice summer day

Our daisies are in their prime here, too. That sounds like a fun shop that will be opening. Happy day to you!
