Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another nice sunny day

This morning there was a mix of sun and clouds as I walked around town.
58 degrees
Sunrise 5:59
Morning Walk Steps 12,789
Found a Penny

Find a penny.
Pick it up.
All day.
Have good luck.

Started my walk by walking around both of the cemeteries.

Then over to the ball park to walk that loop.
Continued up and down all the streets in town.

Work continues again today on the church and house.

I saw 4 little baby chicks in the yard of the people who have
chickens next to the ball park.
So cute but too far away for a picture.
I'm wondering if some eggs got over looked when
egg collecting and hatched.

Driving back home I saw a deer cross the road followed by twins.
Also some rabbits, a couple chipmunks and even a mouse.

🌤    🚶‍♀️    🙂    💰

Food shopping day.
This week it was at Casselmans Market.
They had some nice looking cherries, strawberries, and corn on the cob.
Wonder if I could make a meal out of those three items. 🍒🍓🌽

Liz is out of town this week so since when David was gone we took
Liz to Brenda's for pizza we took David to pizza this time.
Instead of going for supper we went for lunch.

Finished July's baby blanket.
You can see it
HERE
if you care to take a look.

Thanks for stopping by
Happy Tuesday

The baby chicks made me smile!

The blanket is so colorful and pretty. Babies are attracted to primary colors like this. Favorite photo is the third one with what looks like yucca.

Cherries, strawberries, and corn on the cob! Perfect summer treats! One of our daughters and her husband have been intentionally hatching chicks as they are working on building a flock for their farm.

I love seeing summer pics! The sky, the grass, the flowers! Love that you saw all that wildlife too.

I would have no trouble at all making a meal of Strawberries, Cherries and corn.
There's such a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables at this time of the year. I love it.

I recite those same words whenever I see a penny laying on the ground. I always pick it up too. Don't won't to have bad luck all day :)

Hello,
Love the shadow shot! The strawberries, cherries and corn sound yummy to me.
The deer sound like a cute sighting. Take care, have a great day!

Your pictures are always so amazing! Sounds like you could make a summer salad of some sort :) Some Italian dressing would do the trick :)

Fun shadow shot! It's always so sweet to see fawns with their mama and baby chicks, too. Our baby quail look like middleschoolers now. :) Have a great day!

Sounds like all the animals hit the road at the same time. Did their class release them early? :)
