Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Friday

This morning I walked under cloudy/misty/smokey skies
and the temperature was 60 degrees.
Sunrise 5:52
Morning Walk Steps 13,197

Started my walk going down toward home a ways, turned around
and back to town.

Then walked up and down the streets on the right side of town
and then back straight through town.
Continued up and around the cemetery on the hill a few times
and over to the big barn.

Next it was around the ball park loop and then back through town
up and down some more side streets.

Sweet Pea blooming along a wall on main street.

Pretty quiet around town today.
Didn't see anyone else.

☁️    🥾    😊

Baked another batch of the chocolate chip cookies for Bible Time.
Thought this would be the last batch but still have one more to bake.

Finished up the last of the weave-it squares for Julys baby blanket.
Will start sewing them together this evening.

Thanks for stopping by
Happy Friday

Sandi - There is a feeding trough all along the other side of the fence which hay goes into.  The cows can line up and stick their heads through the fence to eat.

...our air quality is poor here today, I'm staying indoors. Sweet peas put on a wonderful show. Keep smiling.

I know the kids at your church love Bible Time when they get those delicious chocolate chippers!

I agree with Deb about the kids loving Bible Time and your chocolate chip cookies. Your energies are definitely not wasted.

The Sweet Peas are so lovely and old fashioned looking. These are a darker color than the ones here.

Those Sweet Peas look exactly like my perennial Sweet Peas. If they don't have any scent then that's what they are. If you wanted to plant any around your house you could collect seeds once they're dry.

The sweet peas are very pretty. I'm pretty sure we had those in the flower beds when I was growing up. My favorite was always the snap dragons though. I still to this day will give them a little squeeze to see their mouths open...lol
