Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Fog and mist

59 degrees and a cloudy misty morning for walking.
Sunrise 5:50
Morning Walk Steps 13,752

Walked to the library first and dropped off a DVD.
(Back to the Future)
Then walked up and down all the roads in town,
both cemeteries and the ball park loop.

I met Eric.
Have seen him walking his dog quite a few times and we
stopped and introduced ourselves.
His dog is Sparky.
Eric lives in the house with the neat and tidy garden that
I've been taking pictures of.

Saw John out walking Prim but he was a good distance away.

Walked up the hill to Lisa's house.
She often walks or runs in town and her husband Dwayne walks
sometimes too.
They live in a BIG house on top of the hill.

Walking down the hill here, their house is behind me.

Saw the usual deer and rabbits on my way to town.
A few rabbits in town also.

☁️    🥾    🙂

Busy morning getting some housework done and
baked another batch of the chocolate chipper cookies for
Bible Time which is fast approaching.
Have one more batch to bake.

Didn't see the sun till late afternoon and then it was
filtered due to the wild fires in Canada.

These are some of the wild daisies that have popped up out back.

Thanks for visiting
Happy Wednesday

Lots of deer out and about on our farm, and even driving to town. I enjoy seeing them, too.

The Canadian Wild Fires are bad ... they are affecting so many countries.
"Canada has officially marked its worst wildfire season on record, with smoke from the blazes crossing the Atlantic Ocean and reaching western Europe on Monday."

All the best Jan

PS I'm enjoying your smile series :)

How wonderful that the daisies just popped up! perfect for a Happy One. I love them. Maybe because my mother’s name was Daisy.

I love daisies. They're such a happy flower.
It's been very hazy here the last couple of days. They say it is from the fires.

I sometimes forget the names of the many people we meet on our walks but I almost never forget their dogs' names. Sorry about all the wildfire smoke we're sending your way.

Glad you could finally meet the new walker you've seen. We are having wildfires pop up here and there right now. So far they have been easily contained. Hope that remains the norm. Happy evening to you.
