Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Another day another walk

45 degrees while walking this morning.
It was calm and sunny and perfect for walking.
Sunrise 5:50
Morning Walk Steps 13,117
Found a Penny
πŸ’°

First walked around both of the cemeteries a couple times each.
Then made my way over to the ball park and walked around
the loop a couple of times too.

Next walked around town a bit and then then headed
down the main road toward home, turned around and on the way
back took a little detour up Sale Barn Road a ways.

Some pictures along my way.

Pretty quiet around town this morning.
Didn't see any one else out about except for people in cars.

Driving up the driveway getting home there was a deer out front.
After putting the Jeep in the garage the deer was still there.

While I was out walking Ken saw the deer down by the basement
from the bathroom window and took this picture of the deer
having a little nibble on the wisteria.

🦌    🦌    🦌

The bee nest got sprayed last night and happy to say there are no more
bees under the picnic table.

We went out back and we got some of the weeds under control.
Ken weed wacked and I went around with my clippers
getting a closer trim by the rocks.

All the plants I planted seem to be doing good so far.
Haven't had to water anything yet after all the rain we had.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Wednesday

Hi Karen! It's nice that you've had cool walks! I like your smiley face!

The doe is probably just trying to help keep the wisteria under control. :~) Everything there looks lush and green. We have fingers crossed that we might get some rain the next few days.

My favorite today is the big house with the wide flower borders on either side.

We have been back to walking each evening after work and dinner. We always find a penny or more. I’m loving my honey jar to add my change to. At the end of the year, we will use our walking change to get dinner. Haha.
The deer in your yard is so pretty.

Hi Karen, I love the pictures of the country road, and the deer greeting you as you came home from your walk. I am wondering who the weight lifter is - you and Ken. I will see you again tomorrow.

That's quite a stand of flowers ( daisies?) by that house in the third photo.

We have alerts on the air quality, from the wildfire smoke.
Not good for walking outdoors.
Love your deer photos, they are so cute.
Take care, enjoy your day!

I just can't get over how beautiful it is there! Was that your house through the trees? Everything looks so inviting on your walks, including the weather!
