Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Winter in May

32 degrees this morning and snowing when I left on my walk.
Sunset 6:16
Walking Steps 13,463
Found a Penny

Walked over to the laundromat and the Book Crossing
book was still sitting there in the window sill.

From there I walked around the ball park loop a few times.
Continued walking down the main road and up and down the side streets.

Up to the cemetery on the hill and took this picture.

Walked around the cemetery a couple of times and again went
to see the cows.
Back around the cemetery another time and lastly
walked around the other cemetery.

Didn't see any other people out today.

It was a wet snow and by the time my walk ended I was pretty wet.

Nice to get back home in a nice warm dry house.

🥾    🌨    🙂    💰

This spring/winter morning was a good day for some nice
hot oatmeal for breakfast.

We were out all morning getting some errands done.
Hardware Store
Walgreens
Casslemans Market
Shop and Save

Snowed the whole time, but nothing sticking on the roads.

After lunch did some house cleaning.
Moved a few pieces of furniture around in our bedroom and gave
it a 'good' cleaning.

Then it was time for knitting and reading.

Ken made us Steak and Cheese sandwiches for supper.

That's all for today.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy Tuesday

It is super windy here and still cool, although no snow. It seems to be a cooler spring for many.
I can imagine your warm dry house was very welcome today.

Hope this snow weather ends stat. It would keep me home because I am such a sissy. Glad that it didn't prevent you from getting the chores done. Bet the bedroom looks fresh and nice for spring.

We have been almost up to 90, but temperatures are supposed to cool and we should have more rain this weekend. What a weird spring we are having, just about everywhere! Sounds like you got a lot done today. See you again tomorrow!

Snow in your corner and in the upper 80's here. We will be getting a cool down for the weekend, though. It's good to have a roof over our heads no matter what the weather!

It doesn't look much like May! Hopefully the winterish weather moves on soon.

The cemetery looks lovely with the light dusting of snow.

That looks like a cold walk! It's pretty though!

Ugh! I can't believe how late everyone is getting snow! They got 2 feet yesterday in Marquette MI! Crazy! We got snow mixed with rain but nothing stuck!

Spring is a crazy season! We have been having cold temps and hard freezes, but no snow.

Same here, except not quite as cold. Funny, it was warmer in February than it has been here these last three days. This afternoon the temp is 50 with wind gust up to 30 mph. Miserable outside. Steak and cheese sandwiches sound good.

Winter does not want to leave but spring will knock it out eventually.

I'm glad you were able to come back to a warm and cozy home after being out in the wet snow. Warm oatmeal is the perfect breakfast on a cold day. It sounds like you had a productive day running errands and doing some cleaning around the house. And those sandwiches with steak and cheese for dinner sound delicious! Thanks for sharing your day with us, and I hope you have a great rest of your week.
