๐ฆI usually like walking in the rain but not today.
There was a cold steady rain, it was windy
and just didn't feel like getting wet.๐ฆ
Did another load of laundry but no hanging on the line today.
Clothes had to get hung on my nice big drying rack.
I stayed in the house all day.
Got the last of the house chores done for this week.
Then it was time for reading, making weave-its and knitting.
I joined a website called Book Crossing.
It is a good way to give away books you no longer want.
You register a book and it is given a number.
A note is put in the book saying something like,
This book is free and is registered at BookCrossing.com
so its journey can be tracked.
Please go to BookCrossing.com and enter
this BCID number, (the number here is the registered number you gave it)
to let me know you found it.
Then read it and pass the book along.
Thanks
You can hand write the note or you can buy stickers to put in the books.
Thought it might be fun to track where the books go.
And that's all for today.
Sorry no photos.
Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

Hi Karen. Thanks for telling us about Bookcrossing.com. I just went there and signed up! Bright, sunny and warm here today. I hope you have a good weekend!
I'm going to check out bookcrossings - what a great idea!
What a cool idea for used books!
Rain is coming here for the weekend.
That's a great idea for the books you no longer want. It would be fun to see where it travels to.
Karen, do you have a regular cleaning routine, such as a certain room on a certain day? Just curious :) I always enjoy hearing how others organize their homemaking tasks.
Hello,
It was raining here all day yesterday. A dreary day.
The book exchange sounds interesting.
Have a great weekend.
Book crossing sounds good.
I gave away a book about boomerangs at a garage sale. Someone bought it as a gift for my birthday.
God bless.
I used to sell books at Books.com back in the late 1990s. Then Amazon bought them. I'll have to check this out -
I have heard of Book Crossing. It sounds like a good idea.
