Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

26 degrees this morning when I started out walking.
Calm, and mostly sunny with a few clouds around.
It was already in the 30's by walks end
and ended up making it all the way in the 50's by afternoon.
Sunrise 7:10
Walking Steps 12,890

Walked around both of the cemeteries, the ball park,
and then down the main road back towards home.
Went about a half mile, turned around and came back to town.
Stopped at the Jeep to pick up a book and walked to the
library and dropped that down the book drop.
Then back to the Jeep and the ended my walk.

Nice being out early and watching a new day start.
Just getting to the upper cemetery here.

This is taken walking down the road towards home.
I take a picture often of this because I just love the view
going to Farmer Marvin's farm.

Saw KitCat resting at the base of a tree and he came over
to see me as I passed by.
Tried to get another picture of him but it's hard to get him
to stand still.  Took three and they were all one big blur.

Saw a rabbit and 5 deer but no people walking.

🌤    🥾    ❤️    😊

We really didn't need much of anything but we went to the
Shop and Save to get those few things.

Got some more house chores done.
Then I made the last 3 weave-it squares for the
baby blanket and got is sewed up and ready for Thursday.

Read some and now I'm off to make supper.

That's all for today.
Happy Valentine's Day
Thanks for visiting.

Love is friendship that has caught fire.
It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving.
It is loyalty through good and bad times.
It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses.

Great quote from Ann Landers. She always gave good advice and said profound things. Glad you had a good day. It is snowing and very cold again here, so I will exercise downstairs again tonight. See you again soon!

That second picture is beautiful. Looks like it should be in a frame hanging on a wall. Hope your Valentines was a happy one. :)

I remember reading Ann Landers when I was a kid. Also Erma Bombeck and Hints from Heloise :) Your pictures are beautiful, as always!

Wow, that second photo is just...wow. Really shows the beauty of your area; even in the winter.
