Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Work Day

Light snow falling and 30 degrees when I walked this morning.
Sunrise 7:36
Walk Steps 13030

Very quiet around town and with the snow made it more so and very peaceful.
Didn't see anyone else out.

Walked up and down the main street through town and up behind our old house in town.
Next walked around the ball park a couple of times, up and down the main street again and lastly around the cemetery on top of the hill a few times.

By the time I got back to the Jeep I had to scrape ice and snow off the windshield!!

We had a good work day at church doing Fingerprints.
There were 16 of us working at different time through the afternoon and some will work later into the evening.
Ken and I worked from a little before noon will 5:15.

That took care of the day.
Nice to be home in a nice warm house and look forward to reading more of my book.
I'm already liking Beartown!!

That's all I have for today.
Thanks for poppin' in for a visit.
Happy Friday the 13th.

Update on Bettye - she is doing very well, is up and walking and getting more use of her left side. They might even let her out from the rehabilitation center to go church on Sunday.
Again thanks for all your prayers.

Glad to hear you are liking Beartown. Your pictures do look very peaceful with all that snow. We are supposed to get more rain and snow over the weekend, so it will probably make it's way to you in a few days. I hope you have a good weekend.

There’s really nothing to compare to a walk in the snow. It seems so quiet and peaceful. We have only had a couple of dustings this winter. I love your snowy morning pictures.

Good to know that Bettye is recuperating well. Going to church on Sunday will be a great blessing for her. Lightly snowing here today after rain yesterday.

We were supposed to get a dusty of snow yesterday, but nothing happened. Other areas about 20 miles from me got some though. And then as I write this, I'm looking out the window and see some snowflakes falling. It comes and it goes.
I hope you have a lovely weekend.

What a weather! Let's make a deal: you take our rain and I'll take your snow. Trust me, you'll love it.
