Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Fire Sky

39 degrees this morning and cloudy and calm.
Sunrise 7:38
Walk Steps 12808

Walked up and down the main road under the street lights.
Then it was up to the cemetery on the hill.

Next around the other cemetery.
Continued down toward home a ways, turned around and back to town.
Walked around the cemetery again.

The sky looked on fire for a few minutes.

All the ice is gone from the town pond.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.
Wonder where everyone is.

I've passed by this shape made by dead grass clippings for a few days now and to me
it looks like a dog with its head lifted up.

☁️    🥾    🚶‍♀️

Walking I felt like having pancakes for breakfast so made some when I got home.

Morning was time to get my usual house work done.

Thought about going outside and picking up the deadfall and put it on my fence but ended up staying inside and reading.

Nice to see the sunshine for a little while this afternoon, though it would have been nice to see more of it. It came out about 3:30.

We both felt like pizza for supper today so we made it a day early this week

That's all I've got for today.
Thanks for visiting.
Happy Thursday

Hi Karen. What a beautiful sunrise. Yes, it does look like fire in the sky. I will have to look for Phil the Wiggleman's youtubes. See you again tomorrow.

Your first three pictures are so beautiful. They belong in your book. Millie and I sometimes wait for the sun before we go walking.

That sky is beautiful. It does look like it's on fire.
Pancakes sound good. My husband used to occasionally make them for dinner. When it came to breakfast food he was the one who always cooked it. I haven't had them in quite a while.

Beautiful skies, I see the dog too.
Love the pond reflections. Pancakes are always yummy, sometimes we have them for dinner too. Take care, enjoy your day and happy weekend!

That sky is amazing!! And now I want pancakes!

I'm glad you are counting your steps now because I can visualize how
much walking that is, since I count steps daily.

You are getting some great exercise!! The most I've ever done in my life is around 13,000 and that was a day we moved into a new house and I was constantly on the move.

Now I'm doing good to reach my goal of 7500 each day.

A nice walk!

Oh yes! I see that wire fox terrier! 🙂

Pizza a day early = a good day!

The sky on fire is beautiful. You'd have to catch it
at the exact right moment as they don't last long.
