Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

 Happy Sunday

A couple of sky pictures from the past week.

๐ŸŒง    ☁️    ๐Ÿ˜Š

You know how you get a song in your head that you keep singing?
All week I've been singing the chorus of a hymn we sing at church.

Thank You Lord
Seth and Bessie Sykes
๐ŸŽถ Thank you Lord for saving my soul. ๐ŸŽถ
Thank you Lord for making me whole.
Thank you Lord for giving to me,
Thy great salvation so rich and free.

These are the three verses of the hymn.

1.  Some thank the Lord for friends and home,
For mercies sure and sweet.
But I would praise Him for His grace
In prayer I would repeat.

2.  Some thank Him for the flowers that grow,
Some for the stars that shine.
My heart is filled with joy and praise
Because I know He's mine.

3.  I trust in Him from day to day,
I prove His saving grace,
I'll sing this song of praise to Him,
Until I see His face.

๐Ÿ“– Romans 10:9 ๐Ÿ“–
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved.

๐Ÿ“– I Thessalonians 5:18 ๐Ÿ“–
In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

A Blessed Sunday to all.
Jesus Loves You❤️

That's a good one to have stuck in your head. I didn't know all those verses, I've only heard the first verse.

A song stuck in your mind that has you singing/humming is called an earwig. I know it has nothing to do with the Sabbath, but all day yesterday I was singing Feliz Navidad.
Beautiful sky shots!!

I'm able to sing along with the first verse by memory. I don't think I've ever sung the other verses.
