Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Frozen puddle

Windy and cloudy this morning and 25 degrees when I walked.
Sunrise 7:01
Walked 6 miles

The sky was this beautiful pink and purple when I first
starting walking, but didn't last very long.

Walked down the main street in town,

and up again.

Next was both of the cemeteries and the ball park loop and back.

Last leg of my walk was up and down the side street to the
right of main street.

Saw the the first frozen puddle of the season.

No one else out walking but did see the men working on the
roof of the second shed.

Over at the bank they put the final black top on the driveway and work
continues now on the little drive thru building.

Another great start to the day with a walk.

☁️    🥾    🙂

First thing this morning we went to the Shop and Save and did
our grocery shopping.
On the way home it started snowing.

Today I made a couple of English Muffin Loaves.
You can guess what tomorrows breakfast will be!!

Did the usual every day house chores.

Then had a relaxing rest of the day.
While the snow came down
I worked on the puzzle,
read,
and knitted.

Thanks for stopping by.
Make your day a good one.

Ginny and Debbie - The only thing I save that I find walking is coins and I put them in old glass banks.

That was a chilly start to the day! Beautiful sky shot!

Pretty walk today. The sky was beautiful. Our snow is to start around 3:00 tomorrow morning, so we will wake up to snow... or the sound of snowplows around 4am! I haven't made English muffin bread in years. That would make good egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Stay warm!

What a great picture of Main Street USA! "While the snow came down, I worked on the puzzle, read, and knitted." How cozy that sounds!

What a beautiful sky that was. It started snowing last night but nothing on the ground this morning thankfully. We're supposed to get a lot today though. We'll see.

Oh my gosh. That sky could stay like that forever and I wouldn't mind.

Hello,
Love the beautiful sunrise. We had our first real frost yesterday morning and then rain for most of the day. Hubby and I enjoy working on our puzzles.
Take care, have a great day!

Very pretty sunrise! It's getting cold enough here now to freeze puddles!

What a beautiful sunrise to greet you on your walk.
Working on a puzzle while the snow flies outside sounds very cozy.

What a gorgeous sunrise! I really like the photo of your main street.
No frozen puddles here, but a big storm on the way. They are predicting 8-14 inches of snow for us. :(

I was just looking for your pumpkin bread recipe. I like for that reason, too—three loaves. Yes, it's good to know the trusses have been used. Baking days are pleasant indeed on chilly days.

Love those early morning scenes you enjoy and take photos of. Sounds like a good day. Frozen puddle time of the year. That puddle looks like some modern art. Blessings!
