Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Windy

47 degrees this morning with a slight breeze.
Left on my walk a bit later than usual because I wanted to walk more
in the sun instead of mostly in the dark.
Once the sun rose at 7:28 it was a beautiful sunny walk.
Walked 6.2 miles

Walked to the library first and dropped a book down the book drop.
Then walked around town and both cemeteries.
Headed on town the main street toward home a ways before
turning around and walking back to town.

Back through town again to the ball park and walked around there.

Saw a couple of rabbits hopping about.

Saw John walking Prim and Rebecca walking Leo
but both were far away and they didn't even see me.

A craft show was getting set up at the fire house.
Didn't even stop to look.

The wind started picking up toward the end of my walk.

☀️    ๐Ÿฅพ    ๐Ÿ

Got a load of clothes out on the line to dry and with all the wind
they sure got twisted around the line a lot.
Lost count of how many times I went out to untangle them.

Thought about going for a walk around Happy Trails
but it was so windy out that I decided not to go.
Many leaves came down today with all the wind.

Didn't do much of anything except read.

Thanks for stopping by.

Rose - Yes, I'm pretty sure that the two deer from yesterday are mother and daughter.

Ginny - Yes, I've taken many pictures of the cemetery cat.  Here's one of them.

Cemetery Cat is a pretty cat. The tree above it is beautiful. And I love the sunlight on the trees in that first photo.

...it sure was windy here too.

That cat is a sweetheart.

Thanks for the photo of the cat. He's a real beauty! Do you know his story; does anyone own him?

The cat reminds me of a cat I once had and loved. I hope he is not a stray and that he does have someone who loves him.

We're supposed to drop 10 degrees tomorrow. It hit 100 yesterday and that's just not right - It's FALL. Today we're hovering around 91 or so - tomorrow will be downright cold to us after a long hot summer.

Quite a bit of Autumn colour in those trees but with the wind who knows how much will be left tomorrow! Have a lovely Sunday.

Hi Karen. Sounds like a really windy day to twist up your laundry on the line so much. You have a lot of willpower to not even look at the craft show. I am sure I would have stopped and browsed and probably have come home with something I really didn't need. I hope you have a good Sunday. See you then!

Those fall colors against that blue sky are beautiful.

Nice towel on the line.

God bless.

It's suppose to continue raining along with some strong winds today. The cemetery cat looks pretty good, maybe someone feeds him.

It has been windy here too, but I was not out in it.

Instead we rode over to see Grand daughter and her husband's new to them house. Actually they came for us, and took us over and back.

It was a beautiful sunny weekend though!!!!

I can understand delaying the start of your walk so it isn't all in the dark. The Fall time change isn't until the first weekend in November this year. I'm guessing that means it will be light earlier?
