Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Apple Blossoms

🌼    🌼    🌼

This morning the temperature was 50 degrees again.
Mostly cloudy but did see a little bit of the sun.

Started walking down the main road back towards home.
After a 1/2 mile turned around, walked back and through town,
and up behind the house we lived in in town.
From there continued on to the industrial park and walked
all around in there.  Then it was back through town to the Jeep.

At the industrial park I saw Robins, Gold Finches, and
a few Red Winged Black Birds.

Only the one man was fishing today at the pond.
Saw Lisa running again and today we stopped for a little chat.

I mentioned some days ago that there was a new school bus
driver on bus 46.  Happy to say the original man is back
to driving his bus again.
Nice to get a big wave from him. πŸ‘‹  πŸ™‚

Walked up the side street that was repaved yesterday
just to walk on the new road.
How nice!

Today another side road gets repaved.

Apple blossoms

Well, that was my walk.
Another delightful one.
Walked 6 miles

🌸    πŸŒ₯    πŸ₯Ύ

We left right after breakfast and went to the Dollar General
and Shop and Save for the weekly groceries.

Made some Macaroni Salad for supper to go with
sausage sandwiches.

Sat out on the front porch in this afternoon
and got some weave-its sewn together.
Just 14 more squares to make and I'll be done with
the baby blanket for May.

So nice to have a front porch and for that I am truly thankful.
A happy day to you. πŸ˜€

We had clouds, we had sun, we had rain...but it was all with warm temps so was not bad.

Those were some pretty ominous clouds... glad you didn't get rained on. It sounds like you had a nice peaceful day. Porch sitting is one of my favorite activities!

My favorite is the apple blossoms - so pretty!
We put a front porch on last year and are looking forward to nice weather to sit on it!

A 50 degree walk, apple blossoms, a chat with a friend, and a big wave is a wonderful way to start the day.

That apple tree with blossoms is beautiful. Not many apples around here...maybe it's too hot and dry? I remember as a child, going to my grandma's house in Tennessee and she had apple trees all over the place - really tall ones. She told me Johnny Appleseed himself planted them. LOL, I believed that for years!

Soon you'll be hot and humid. I bet you can't wait.

The apple blossoms are so pretty. Wish we had a big old apple tree. Just don't have any luck growing an apple tree. Having a front porch to sit on is wonderful! Our house is small but we sure love having a front and back porch.

Hi Karen! A front porch sounds lovely! It's so good to be a walker and a bird watcher! I hope your spring has been fun. God be with you, friend.

Seems we all loved the apple blossoms!~!! They sure are pretty.
Sometimes I get hungry for macaroni salad but my DH doesn't care for it and it hardly pays to make it for one person. Have a great Wednesday.

Nothing quite as nice as a freshly paved street. The apple blossoms are so pretty.
