Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Winter pays another visit

What happened to Spring?

31 degrees this morning and a dusting of snow over everything.
During my walk there were some snow showers, a little
bit of sun and then more snow showers.
Didn't mind though because at least I was outside walking.

Walked all around town and both cemeteries.
Went up Sale Barn a ways too.

Didn't see anyone else out walking and not many cars either.

I took a bunch of pictures so made a few collages.

The same Silo from different places
.

Hope you enjoyed my walk pictures.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    🌥    🌨    😊

Pancake breakfast morning.

Ken went to the Dollar General on his own after breakfast
while I got some house chores done.

The other day I mentioned to Liz that I couldn't find
Brummel and Brown in the Shop and Save or Dollar General.
She went shopping at Walmart this morning, found it there
and bought some for me and dropped it off.
It was a small kindness but meant so much to me.
What a blessing Liz is. ❤️😊

It snowed on and off all day.
One moment it would be snowing like crazy,
then the sun came out for a bit,
then snow again.
Supposed to keep this up through tomorrow.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
A happy Saturday to you. 😊

Interesting to hear the differing opinions on the house for sale in town.
The price is a bit high for here and don't think they will get the asking price, but we shall see.

...spring weather doesn't mean the spring has arrived. Snow is in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

Oh, another snow, it hurts me to see it. I guess it’s pretty. Hope you get sun soon. We had a sunny day here. I walked an hour. My knees hurt so badly. I’m thinking tomorrow they’ll be better.

It sure looks pretty with the dusting of snow. We have the air conditioner on here! I love those pine cones dangling...how neat! Enjoy your evening and a scoop of that yummy ice cream!

I looked out of curiosity at that house for sale and saw the price. That's a lot more than houses are selling for here in our area. I was surprised!

Oh that stuff can leave first thing Monday morning if not sooner. Just some poor man's fertilizer.

Liz does sound like a sweet and thoughtful person. We all need some of those in our lives.

I use Brummel & Brown! Your walk looks like it was entirely deserted! The weather has been like this here as well. We had lots of blowing snow today, then sun as well. And so windy!

The snow is still pretty even in spring, but I think by now we are all ready for spring.

I am beginning to think Spring has run away this year! We had snow yesterday and more flakes expected in the next few days.
I enjoyed your pictures from your walk. xo Diana

Brr, that looks cold. Love your pictures. We've just come back from a sunny walk along the beach though the weather is set to get a bit colder next week.

Ugh! winter was back here too yesterday. Thankfully it only snowed a dusting and it's gone now. But it is cold! Love your pictures. Liz is a sweetheart!

The weather seems very confused.

Oh sigh... Not again....

We are in for cooler weather and thus, we might get some snow that sticks too.

Ugh..... LOL

And the wind is and has been a wee bit on the *tough* side.

Oh well, it will cease eventually. :-)
