Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pizza

My walk this morning was under cloudy skies,
30 degrees and a bit of a breeze.
A few snow flurries at first but they didn't last long
and didn't amount to anything.

First walked to the post office to mail a birthday card to a friend.
Then continued around both cemeteries and the ball park.
Pretty much stayed left of the main road.

I see this kitty quite often and he usually comes up to me.
Not so today.  He must have been too comfortable laying by the tree.

Lots of geese around in the fields, both ponds and in the air.
A few were walking up the street to the cemetery again.

No people around walking that I saw but did see Farmer Marvin
down by the bulls.  He call them the guys.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    😊    🥾

Finished sewing the striped baby blanket.
You can see it HERE.

A bit of work around the house and a bit of fun.
A good day.

David and Liz stopped by with a pizza from Brenda's for our supper
and a box and Good and Plenty for Ken and Whoppers for me.
It was a Thank You for letting them borrow our truck
for a couple of days while their Jeep got worked on.
The pizza was a Take and Bake.
They make it fresh, and you bring it home and bake it.
Delicious!!

Thanks for visiting.
A happy Thursday to you. 😊

I bet that pizza was delicious. Can you tell I am hungry for pizza? Pizza is one of my favorite foods.

Do you think the cat is feral, or owned by someone nearby? The pizza sounds delicious! The blanket looks so warm and lovely.

Your snow is all gone, and we still have snow and ICE. Our temps must be lower than yours.

Pretty kitty. Hope it has a home. And is just wandering a bit, when you see him/her.

Great idea, bring home and bake Pizza.

Nice blanket-of-many-colours.
I always find it interesting that you've already had your evening meal and it's only 4 PM here. I guess you're 3 hours ahead of us.

Your blanket is beautiful, and appropriately named, The kitty looks like one of ours. Your views are always so pretty no matter the season.
I like the idea of baking the pizza, that way it will be hot, I like mine very hot.
Have a great weekend,

That's a comfortable kitty. I remember take and bake pizza when we lived in Oregon.
