Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cold

The cold of winter was back this morning when I walked.
15 degrees with a slight breeze but nice and sunny once the sun rose.
Sunrise 6:44

Walked all around town, both cemeteries, and the ball park.

Didn't see any others out walking.

Some of the bulls had frost on them again.
They were using the gate as a back scratcher.

Nice to see the sun coming up which made it warmer.

A couple pictures I snapped while walking.

Walked 6 miles

🌤    🥾    😊

Ended up having a sunny day in the 30's.

Left in the morning for Grantsville where we had a few
errands to do.
Before coming home we stopped at the library and picked
up a couple more books.

Started reading another Anne Perry book
Long Spoon Lane.
I like that it is a large print book - easy on the eyes.
I've been reading the Thomas Pitt and Charlotte series for years.
 This is book number 24.
Books are set in Victoria England

We went outside for a little while this afternoon.
Didn't do anything but walk around.

We had a couple of pieces of pizza left over from yesterday,
so we had that again for supper with a Caesar salad.

Well, that' all I have for today.
Thanks so much for visiting.
Happy Saturday to you. 🙂

Ginny and MsBB - The kitty from yesterday has a very nice home across the street from the lower cemetery.  There are a couple of dogs there too. 🙂

GrannyM - Yes, we are three hours ahead of you!

Wow, I did not realize we were three hours ahead of Granny M...I forgot she was from B.C. It was suppose to be 52 at one point here...but the wind felt like it was from an iceberg. The boy look like they have a thick coat to protect them from the cold.

It was looking similar here this morning. So pretty with frost and sunshine!
That is a great quote by one of my favorite presidents.

Wow, it is amazing how you can walk when it is so much below freezing!! But I guess it really gets your blood circulating.

Hello,

Love the bull photo and the view of the pond. Our temperatures are going up and down like a yo-yo. Take care, have a happy weekend.

Winter pops in and out, much to my dismay. One would think that I can ride with it knowing winter for this many years. 🙂 One thing is sure, spring is coming. And I love spring in your corner. Soon you'll be showing the daffodils and tulips and birds nesting. I do love a day when I know what's for supper. Left-over pizza is a good one! Have a blessed weekend.

I wish you had walked with me this morning...it was 80. You would probably think that's too hot though. Love seeing your photos of where you walk! Enjoy your weekend!

Your pictures do look cold! We have had some rain and snow is in the forecast for later this weekend. We need the water so we are all praying that we get it. Hope you have a good weekend. See you again soon!

Thanks for verifying the time difference. I like knowing that kind of detail. Our sunrise was the same time as yours this morning. We noticed that the roofs were white with frost. I wasn't aware of a frost warning but it is still early March and anything came happen. But it's sunny and we got lots of outside work done with the help of Youngest Son.
