Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A sunny day

A cloudy morning walk today, no wind, and 44 degrees.

Driving to town I saw 4 deer and a rabbit.

Walked up and down the main road in town and
then both cemeteries, the ball park and some side streets.

Saw Rebecca out running.

Lots of worms all over the place.
Guess the rain drove them out of the ground.

For Sale sign just went up at this house right on main street.
Since we moved up here (8 1/2 years) this is the fourth time it has been for sale.
First two times it took a LONG time, the third time it sold in 4 days.
Wonder how long it will take this time.
I'm thinking people get tired of living so close to the road.

Walked 6 miles

☁️    🥾    🌼    😊

Did the usual morning routine around the house.

Turned out to be a beautiful sunny day and I spent some time
sitting out on the back deck in the swing reading.

David and Liz came over late afternoon for game time.
We played Uno.
Played for a while, ate supper and then continued playing.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy Thursday to you. 😊

A few of you wondered how the mailbox got knocked down. Pretty sure the snow plow got it.  The mailbox is not by a residence but a business that is no longer there.

GrannyM - No, we don't have much vandalism in my area. (Probably not enough people around. 🙂 )

There's a place here that keeps getting put on the market and sold.

Pretty pics today. I really like the path by the trees.
You'll have to keep us updated on the house for sale and how quick it sells.

Wow, that 8 and 1/2 years went quickly! I do remember when you first moved to Accident in the house in town. Yes, that house that is for sale again is really close to the road. I think I would want more of a front yard. Glad you got to spend some time with David and Liz. Have a good Friday. See you then!

It’s nice to see the green grass. The house for sale looks like a good home.

It looks like a nice house, so I do wonder what is wrong with it. Surely the buyers take it into consideration that it is right on a busy road. What are these tall trees that are lining the road?

Love how you caught yourself in that mirror! Fun. Sunshine makes for a cheerful walk. Sounds like a fun time together for the evening.

I so love the first photo...and like the reflection one too. It was cloudy all day here. Maybe tomorrow we might get a peak at the sun!

Hello,
Pretty scenes and photos. I like the row of tall pine trees.
Yay for the sunshine! We may have a cold weekend.
Take care, have a happy weekend!

A nice day you had, and I'm so happy for you to be able to get outside and get your waking in :)
It is interesting that the house has been on the market so frequently.
You'll have to keep us posted about how long it stays on the market.

Smiles :)

Thanks for catching yourself in the mirror. I like to see a glimpse of you now and then. You look like a pretty spring tulip in your coat.

My deer trough vlog is ending this Sunday. I am going to miss seeing the deer and hope they do well until next December when the trough feedings begin again.

Nice walk! I see you can be spotted from miles away! I don't think I would want a house that close to the road either!

The traffic noise would be annoying to hear if you live that close to the road. I like your header, I keep on forgetting to mention that. :)

We had sun this morning, and it was welcome!!!

Those houses which turn over... Always interesting to wonder WHY?

Glad you think a snowplow got the old mailbox. Lucky that you do not consider vandalism.

Where were the robins, with all those worms right there, for the taking??????? :-)
