Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A windy walk

22 degrees this morning when I walked and it was very windy.
It was mostly cloudy but the as the sun rose the sky
turned a pretty pink for a few minutes before it was all cloudy.

Walked all over town and around the ball park.

Went around the lower cemetery but stayed away from the one on
top of the hill because it gets really windy up there.

Didn't see any people out but did see a rabbit scurrying about.

Took another progress picture of the twin houses being built in town.

Just as I was getting back to the Jeep I started seeing the
first snow flurries and by the time I was home driving up the driveway
it looked like a blizzard.
Made it home just in time.

Walked 6.2 miles

☁️    🥾    💨    🌨

Snowed on and off till afternoon but had no accumulation.
It was very windy and just blew the snow all around like yesterday.

A nice day around the house.
Really didn't do much of anything.

😊 Happy Saturday to you. 😊
Thanks so much for poppin' in for a visit.

Deb - The book is not mine to keep - just borrowed.  We do have a great little library here in town. They may not have every book you want but they will get it for you!!  Love our small town library where they know you!! They even returned a book mark to me that I left in a returned book one time.

CallaCreek - The baby blankets are make are made on a weave-it loom.  Here's a LINK that will explain all about them.

Sandy - I post the blankets when I finish one.

Well, I only crochet, so I picked a pattern. It’s called soft ocean waves. Hope it turns out nicely. I got to take a longer walk today. Sorry it’s so cold for your walks.

It was bitter cold here this day...and wind that would go right through a person. I was glad I did not have to work out in it. And thankful for a warm place to be.

That is a beautiful sunrise pictures this morning. Glad you got your walk in before the snow started. We had a sunny, spring-like day out here in Salt Lake City, but Monday is supposed to be very snowy. Have a good Sunday. See you again soon!

Pretty sunrise! It was 15 here when I left to go to my Dad's to check on him. when I came back it looked like a blizzard here too, but it was off and on.
Glad you had a nice, quiet day.

Lovely pink clouds. You had a windy walk and we walked in the rain and got wet in spite of umbrellas.

I meant to add that I went over to read about how you first started to do weave-its. I'm glad you explained that. How great that you have that first loom that your grandfather made.

The most wonderful thing about your being out walking early is you get to witness the start of a brand-new day. Your snow-globe kind of day must have been fun!

Ooo wind is one thing that will keep me from walking outside! I have a thing about wind blowing in my face, even if it's a warm one!

I agree with the above, winds are no fun to walk in and we have constant winds here, but some days are worse than others. Happy Sunday to you and Ken.
