Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cupcake Day

It rained overnight but by morning and walk time
it had stopped.
40 degrees, calm, with a mix of sun and clouds.

Walked all around town, the cemeteries and the ball park.
Saw a couple of rabbits hopping about.

Coming into town.

Pretty quiet around town this morning.
Only saw Joy out walking.
Work continues on the roof on the church.
(that's the church in the above picture)
The old part of the church has a slate roof and that is fine.
The newer part has shingles and that is what is getting replaced.

Walked 6 miles

Bench Number 12
This sits in the back yard at the day care center

🌤    🙂    🦃

This Sunday at church is the annual Money Cupcake Day
for the kids in Sunday school.
As in past years I volunteered to make the
6 dozen cupcakes and that is what I today.
In THIS POST from a few years ago I explain about the cupcakes.

All done and ready to be delivered to church.
These carrying cases stack up and make for easy transportation.

We finished the puzzle today.
This was a little challenging but fun.

Knitted more on the hat this afternoon and I'm pretty sure
that tomorrow I'll have it finished.

Once again thanks for taking the time to visit.
A happy Friday to you. 🙂

Your cupcakes do look so good! You could run a bakery all by yourself, I think. All those pretty colored leaves would be hard for me to sort out. I love seeing the church as you walk into town.

Your walks are so pretty! I really like that church and the steeple.
I looked back at the old post to read about the money cupcakes. What a fun thing! I also liked seeing your house being built.

...I like the church stemple down the roads. Those cup cake carriers are a great idea. The area of the puzzle with the leaves looks hard to me.

How nice that the church is getting a new roof (partial) in time for winter snows.
Nice of you to make the cupcakes and help out, and I'm sure that they were appreciated.

A small person could fall through that gap on that bench.

God bless.

A lot of cupcakes!!!!!

A very pretty puzzle!

Wondering where is the table, on which you can leave a puzzle, while it is being worked on? Have to have a "safe" place!!!!
