Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A missing piece

62 degrees and calm this morning when I walked.
It ended up sunny but started out foggy again.

This picture was taken facing east.

Walked around both cemeteries, the ball park and around town.
Walked up Sale Barn Rd a ways and by that time the sun was shining.

Saw a few deer up at the cemetery and they quickly
disappeared into the corn once they saw me.

Two people out this morning, Rebecca and Joy.

Walked 6 miles

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Took a rest day from working outside and got some inside work done.

We took our lunch and parked by the lake watching the boats
while we ate.
Then went for a little ride about before going home again.

We finished the bird puzzle.
Sorry to say a piece is missing but still hopeful that it will turn up.
That happens often.
It was a challenging puzzle but fun to do and I love the picture.

Even though we didn't need to cool off we still sat out on the
front porch for a while.
A thunderstorm came along and we went inside when
we started getting wet.

And so another day passes by.
Thanks for stopping by.
Count your blessings and have a happy day. ๐Ÿ™‚

Lovely puzzle and I can see why it would be challenging. I hope you find the missing piece.

That is a lovely puzzle! I love the picture, too! Wonder about that missing piece. We had a downpour here this afternoon, too, along with some distant thunder.

The puzzle is beautiful! Ken could probably make a piece to replace the missing one. The sun has been catching up with me before I make it home, so I have been wearing my hat. It helps keep spiders’ webs out of my face.

We've had a couple of those puzzles with a missing piece...only for them to show up weeks after torn apart.

Love the road image with the sunlight filtering thru the trees.

Couldn't find the missing piece. Perhaps you already found it? What a lovely string of days you've enjoyed this summer. (Perhaps not, but you are not one to complain.)

Oh, bother about that missing piece. Here's hoping it shows up! Pretty puzzle. That sounds like a nice picnic watching the boats. Hope todays walk was a nice one.
