53 degrees this morning when I walked, calm and foggy in areas.
Fog gone and sunny by the time I finished walking.
The usual walk around town, the cemeteries and the ball park.
Didn't see anyone out walking today.
I took a better picture of the spider webs in the grass.
This one you can see the little hole where the spider hides.
(middle upper half)
When I went down to say good morning to the bulls this tiny little
horse was in the pasture next to them.
She came over to the fence and sniffed my hand.
Some of you have mentioned the doors I've been taking pictures of
around town. Didn't realize how many neat old doors there were around
till I started taking pictures of them.
So I've started a collection of town door pictures.
Here's today's door
Walked 6 miles
🌤 🚶♀️ 🌤
Made pancakes for breakfast, hung a load of laundry out on the line,
and then we drove to Unionton, Pa and went in a few different stores.
Had to take a detour off route 40 on the way because of a land slide
that happened last month.
It was a 9 mile detour but it was on a nice country road so we didn't mind.
Went to Dick's where I picked up some socks for walking.
Will let you know how I like them after walking tomorrow.
Looked around Hobby Lobby - got some yarn.
We also stopped in at Harbor Freight and Lowes.
Lunch time we picked up some spicy chicken sandwiches at Wendy's.
All the stores we went into there were hardly anyone people
so no problem keeping our distance from people.
I finished the hat I was knitting.
David came by and I gave it to him.
I thought it was a bit too big but he loved it.
Forgot to take a picture.
I'm going to make another one for Ken but use smaller needles.
Will probably start on it later this evening.
That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A smile from me to you. 😀

GrannyM - Farmer Marvin breeds and raises the bulls for farms and then sells them. The ones that are where I see them are waiting to be sold or picked up. The three who are there now are too young yet and will be sold later in the year. Marvin also raises beef cattle which he sells for their meat. If you would like to read about the farm and see pictures they have a website HERE.

That spider web is some serious! Love that he has a hidey hole to see out of. Sounds like you had a fun day today!
Oh yeah, the little horse! So gorgeous! Looks like a Breyer model!
I love the door photos and the clouds.
Yes, I had been wondering if all those doors were from your walking route. Very interesting. I have a friend who had an old door like that in her living room as a piece of art. Hope you have a good evening. See you again soon.
I find it interesting how we see more things once we start taking pictures, like you with the old doors That will make an interesting collection of pictures.
Looks and sounds like it was another great day! I have loved the doors you've been posting, glad you told us what they're all about. I didn't even think to ask, just admired them. Love the sweet little horse you saw today. Have a nice evening Karen. :)
I'm always on the lookout for cool doors. Thanks for sharing the ones you are seeing. Glad the hat worked for David. Cute horse.
The spider is hoping to catch low flying insects.
God bless.
Pretty sky shot and I love the horse.
The old door is cool. Take care, have a happy weekend!
Oh what a cute little horse!
Yes, a collection of neat doorways...
Great that the stores were not packed with people. I'd think they would be, with people so happy to be "Let Out Of China Covid Jail"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like all of the photographs you've shared here.
All the best Jan
Thanks for answering my question. I'm late in reading blogs today. Eldest daughter came for lunch and we had a good visit. Now I better get moving.
(I like the idea you have of taking pictures of interesting old doors and posting them).
