Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunny and cool

This morning it was 58 degrees, cloudy, and a slight breeze.
A very random walk around town today.

Walked around one of the cemeteries, up Barn Sale Road a ways,
and around the industrial park.
Went down the main road to add glove number 8 to a post.

Didn't see any one else out walking this morning.
By the time I was home again the sun was shining and it was windy.

Walked 6 miles

Didn't get around to posting yesterday because I was just too
lazy to do it when we got home.

Yesterday was a work day at church with the Fingerprint Ministry.
At church 8:45 and worked till a little past 5:30.
I was the cutter again which is my favorite job to do.
Even though there wasn't a lot of people there this time
we still managed to get 4,914 Romans books put together,
stapled, cut, and boxed up.
Had a break lunch time and pizza was provided for us.

๐Ÿ“–     ๐Ÿ“–    ๐Ÿ“–

Got house chores done this morning.
After lunch we went to church to put up nine flags
out in front of the church along the road
for 4th of July.
We put rebar in the ground first and then slipped the flag poles
over the rebar.
Good sized flags and it looks nice.
Forgot to take a picture.

The rest of the afternoon we just puttered about the house.

It's been a cool sunny day only in the 60's.
Feels more like a fall day than summer but is sure is NICE.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

Ms BB - I use OFF to keep the bugs away.  The kind that is in a tube and goes on like lotion.  Bugs not bad on the porch but can get pretty buggy in the woods.

Hi Karen. You and Ken made a lot of those little books for the Fingerprint Ministry. You two are always doing awesome thing. I wore those hiking shoes you sent me on our hike in Zion's National Park and I was so grateful for them. We had to wade back and forth through a Creek (that wasn't very full) but those hiking shoes were made to keep my feet dry and they were just perfect! I love them and will probably never wear another kind of hiking shoe again. You guys have a good weekend and a Happy Indepence Day!

That was quite a workday at church yesterday. A great accomplishment. Our town puts flags out all along the main roads in town and beyond. It's great to see them. Sounds like a good day for puttering!

You are lucky to just be cool. Here it has been raining and raining and raining. And has gotten cool too.

So much humidity, that it seems as if, if we stand still too long, we will grow mold and be musty! Not a good feeling. LOL

And getting laundry completely dry is an issue. Even with a dryer.

I will stop complaining, these are little problems!!!! -smile-

That's such a large clump of orange Daylilies! When I first discovered Daylilies those are the kind that were given to me. I still have some of them.
