Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Couple of sky pictures and Bible verses

 Happy Sunday

A couple of sky pictures from the past week during my walk.

🌸    🌼    🌸

This morning at church Pastor Leatherman's sermon
was based on these three verses.

I John 2:15, 16, and 17 KJV

'World' in the Bible is used three different ways.
Physical World
People - mankind
Society

World used in these verses is Society

15.  Love not the world,
neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.

16.  For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh,
and the lust of the eyes,
and the pride of life,
is not of the Father,
but is of the world.

17.  And the world passeth away,
and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes yesterday for David. He is now 49 years old.  I feel like that should be MY age!!πŸ™‚

Victor - You asked if the horses were small or the weeds big.  It's a bit of both, little horse in tall weeds.

MsBB - David and Liz moved here in February.

Lovely sky pics! We saw some incredible skies the other night on our drive home from our son's house. Should've made the effort to try to take some pics, but was too tired. Just tried to take them in in my memory. Nothing like a breathtaking view to make one's day.
