Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A clean vehicle

60 degrees, sunny, with a nice cool breeze this morning for walking.
Walked around the cemeteries, town, and the ball park.

Corn is doing nicely in Farmer Marvin's fields.
He doesn't grow sweet corn but corn for feed.

Nice and cool walking around the ball park loop because it is in
the shade so walked around there a few times.

Joy was out again walking too.
She is fast becoming a regular walker. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

The ditch and dirt in the yard yesterday has been put back to normal
so it would seem the work is done.
Now the grass just has to grow back.

Walked 6 miles

A drive back to town to the Dollar General after breakfast
to get the groceries that we didn't get at the Shop and Save
earlier in the week.

Got those things put away and continued with the every day
chores around the house.

After lunch I went outside and finally got the Jeep washed.
It was pretty dirty and it's so nice to have a nice clean vehicle again.
Also cleaned and vacuumed the inside.
Then it was nice to sit out on the porch and drink a nice cold bottle of water.

That's been my Saturday and a good one it has been.
Hope your day was a good one too.
Thanks for stopping by.

It's always nice to have a vehicle that's clean inside and out.
Glad you had a good day and took time to sit out on the porch.

Those shady trails to walk are welcome ones these days. Millie tries to stick to them for sure and then takes a swim in the pond. I added another loop to my walking trail but not much of it will be in the shade. The farmer's corn is growing so fast now.

Our field corn and sorghum is ready for harvest!! Both are for livestock. That is a terrific photo.

You've kept yourself busy on a hot summer day. I really dislike vacuuming the car's interior (full of sand!). Never looks all that clean on the floor mats.

I just cleaned the inside of my Jeep, it gets so dusty here. Mark, who helps me around here, will clean the outside for me soon. It sounds like you had another lovely day. Happy Sunday!

It's nice to relax on your porch after you're done doing the chores. It's satisfying.

That does like like a cool place to walk! I love a clean car myself! It seems to ride better when it's clean doesn't it?
