Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A chilly start

30 degrees this morning with a light frost in some places.
A calm morning and at the beginning of my walk bright sunshine.
After a couple of miles the clouds took over and the rest of my
walk was cloudy.
Sun came out again later in the day and it warmed things up
into the 50's.

Another walk all over town, the cemeteries and the ball park

Saw a tiny little rabbit run under a bush at the cemetery.
Maybe running back to mama - he sure was little.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.
A quiet walk around town - all is well in my little town. 🙂

Walked 6.2 miles

☀️    ☁️    🚶‍♀️    🌸

Work is still going on up at the cabin on the shower room.
Walked up to see how things were going and helped a bit.

Ken stayed and I walked back home.
Walking down the driveway from the cabin.

When I got to the lane looked up at the deep blue sky
with white puffy clouds .

Across from the house driveway some of our neighbor cows
rest in the sun.

Later I'm going to make some baked apples with the air fryer.
Waiting to make them just before snack time this evening so
we can eat them warm.
I think a scoop of ice cream would go well on top too.
Will let you know tomorrow how they turned out.

A happy day to you.
Thanks for stopping by.

I always love the pictures with the cows and this one was no exception. Loved the cow dead center of the photo.

Oh yes! I know the scoop of ice cream on the baked apples warm from the air fryer was just the thing. You are so nicely secluded there in your forest. Lovely neighbors, too.
