Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Little waterfall video

After two days of rain and warmer temperatures the snow is pretty much gone.
Left the house for town at 6:30 because I thought it stopped
raining, but didn't even get to the main road to town and it started
pouring so I made a U turn and went back home.
At that time it was 45 degrees.
Then the fog came rolling in for a short while.
I left for town again at 10:30 and this time got to town and walked.
It was then 33 degrees, cloudy, and very windy.

Great to be able to walk around the cemetery on top of the hill again.

Down to see the bulls who were all lined up eating.

All the snow is gone on the path around the ball park and walked around there a couple of times.
This is this a little stream that runs behind the ball park and it is a bit higher than usual because of the melting snow.

This picture of the geese is a bit blurry but I liked it anyway.

Walked over to the post office and dropped a card off in the mail slot.

Walked 6 miles
Found a penny

☁️    🚶‍♀️    💨

Later in the afternoon we saw a little bit of the sun.

All the ice on our little waterfall has melted and we have quite
a gusher coming down it now.
Took this short video out of the bedroom window.

Wanted to get some cleaning done this afternoon but never got
around to it.  I've been knitting instead.
I'm making the cutest little sachets.
 (3" x 5" with drawstrings)
Easy and fun.
I've made three so far.
Great for little gifts when you add soaps or potpourri.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

That sure was fast to see all that snow gone. Ours is mostly gone here, too. That little waterfall really is gushing and noisy! Fun. Glad you could walk on some familiar routes today after the rain. Happy March to you!

A lovely little waterfall!

We got a dent in the snowpack, but that's it. The temperatures really started dropping here in the afternoon.

Wow, you guys had a lot of snow, but it sure is melting quickly. I love the little waterfall video. We got just a little snow over the weekend and it is mostly gone now too. See you again tomorrow.

Sweet little waterfall!! All the rain you got sure made the snow disappear. Now for some sunshine. We were supposed to get rain today but it never happened. There was sort of a haze, not sunshine, but it stayed dry.

I'm surprised the snow has melted! But the rain helps. Love seeing the stream and what you see when you walk. We got a sprinkle of rain when we walked today but it stopped and the sun came out so we kept going. It was 80 degrees here though so the sprinkles helped cool things off. Enjoy your evening! I wish I could remember how to knit! lol Hugs!

It was a blessing that the rain started before you actually started your walk. That was a pretty big change in temps. Our temps today had a bite to them, even though they were above freezing. The breeze felt like it was off an iceberg.

I LOVE the geese shot, too.

I love the little waterfall video. There's something about falling water... I know you are enjoying having solid ground under you feet again!

Love the quote (her middle name is "PURL". ...Spelled differently I know, but I thought ironic.) Loved seeing the bulls at the trough & your water scenes.

I love the photos. Wow, how nice the little creek outside your window is?! I could listen to that all day.
I bet your little bags are cute. I have been working on making more baby booties. I have a friend having a baby shower and I like to give a little crochet item.

So nice to see you outside walking one of your familiar routes. I'm amazed to see the snow all melted. That is an impressive waterfall and the video was most enjoyable.

The snow around here melted pretty fast also! We haven't had much rain but I'm sure that will change soon! Your waterfall is lovely! Don't you wish it would be like that all year?
