Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Dark and Foggy

31 degrees, calm, and foggy as I walked around town this morning.

Walked straight through town and over to the industrial park
and walked around there.

No people out and about walking in the fog but did see 3 rabbits and a ground hog.

Continued my walk around the ball park, and the two cemeteries.

Fishing season must have opened because I counted 10 people fishing around the town pond. The pond is stocked but don't know with what kind of fish.

Walked around the lower cemetery last and by that time the sun
was trying to break through the fog.

Walked 6 miles

🌫    🙂    🌤    🚶‍♀️

Fog cleared and we had a beautiful sunny day.

I got some more work done in the house in the morning.
Ken and David came to the house for lunch and then went back to work.

Knitted some more on the round wash cloth and so far haven't
had any trouble and it is going along smoothly.
It's a fun project.

I made Brownies and then went for a walk around Happy Trails
and ended up at the cabin.

David and Liz coming over later this evening for another game night.
Think we are playing UNO this time.

Thanks for stopping by.
A happy day to you.

Deb - The oldest gravestone I think is James Drane's  (from the Drain house) which is 1828.  Most of the old stones you can't read anymore.  The newest ones are from this year.

Fog is a great atmosphere for a cemetery. Sounds like some good work is getting done on your property! Yum...brownies.

...fog can add magic to a day if you don't need to drive in it.

The second picture is stunning. The fog gives it a special mysterious feeling.

Mill Lake ( the one I walk around most mornings) is also stocked with trout, I think.
Hope you had fun playing Uno.

What is the difference between fog and mist? Is one foggier than the other? Or one less misty than the other?

God bless.

Uno is a favorite game of our grandchildren. The gameplayers range in age from 15 to 6 and one is on the Autism spectrum, so Uno is a game that they all can play. It usually ends up being a marathon since they want to play until everyone wins a game! Have fun!
