Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A misty walk turns into a sunny day

It rained overnight and there was still a drizzly misty rain
this morning when I walked.
The temperature was 48 degrees.

Saw a couple deer on the way to town.
Walked around town and around both cemeteries and the ball park.

That's me in the mirror in my rain pants and slicker.

Saw a young man out this morning walking his dog - a 5 month old
German Shepherd named Bailey.  Bailey has barking down quite well. πŸ™‚

When the weather is rainy I usually tell myself that I'll
cut my walk short but like today end up
walking all the 6 miles anyway.

🌧    πŸ™‚    🌧

By 10:30 the rain had stopped and out came the sun.
Ended up being another beautiful day though not quite as warm
as yesterday - but still sunny and 50's is NICE.

Went outside again and finished clearing up out front.

Kenny and David went out to Lowes to get some things for
a project they are working on.
I was outside when they got back and saw the truck go up
the lane going to the cabin so walked through the woods to the cabin.
When Ken drove the truck back to the house, David and I went for a bit
of a hike around Happy Trails. He likes to make trails too so we should
have LOTS of trails to walk along!!

Didn't get much done inside today but what a great day to be outside.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day was a sunny one.

Anni - Yes, that is a chain - it marks the end of the driveway apron.

Besides - I put the strawberries in the pancake batter and also on top when they are done.  Can't have too many strawberries! ❤️ πŸ“πŸ“

...as spring days come, working in side is less attractive. Enjoy your weekend Karen.

I envy you being able to see grass and dirt. We had three days of temps in the 50s but both our back and front yards are still covered in snow. And it's supposed to snow over the weekend! Have a great weekend!

On a warm sunny day, i want to sit on that red swing. It looks very inviting.

I would spend a lot of time in that swing!

Hi Karen. Sounds like a very nice day. I love that red swing. That is so nice that you and David get to make trails together. What a blessing to have him close. See you again soon.

It's getting easier to work outside these days. Glad you could enjoy your walk and that the skies cleared.

You are such an inspiration for these old legs of mine that just must keep on moving or else.....

Oh my, you are going to have to change your header! -smile- Snow cover gone! -smile-

Tell me please... When walking... You don't wear a mask, do you? You are perfectly able to keep a distance, from anyone else you may meet. It's out in the fresh air. Don't we need the fresh air, with out getting it, through a mask? And we need the sunlight on our full face, for Vit.D...

If necessary, wear a mask, pulled down around your neck. If you run into a "Panic Person," or want to get closer to talk, you can pull it up. Right?

Not to worry about inside stuff! Enjoy the nice weather, outside!!!!!!!!

I like the mist hanging around in the distance in the first photo. And the one with you in the rear view mirror is cute.
