So nice to have a sunny day all day!!
This year the Bible verses we will be memorizing will
all have to do with growing.
For the month of January our verse is:
II Peter 3:18 KJV
But grow in grace,
and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
to Him be glory both now and forever.

Deb and Jeannette - Enjoy reading the Games of Thrones (Loved Mists of Avalon too) but wouldn't like to watch it. Don't believe you can get the detail from watching that you do from reading. I can follow the story better when reading and like to form my own pictures of what the characters look like.

I agree with your thoughts on reading
being able to use your imagination & follow the story is SO MUCH BETTER than a movie (or series).
Books win everytime over movies with me. You're right when saying they offer a lot more detail.
Growing is a good theme! Great verse to memorize. Happy new week to you.
